These are heavy-duty, solid clamps. Unfortunately, the screws and nuts are not stainless, but normal steel with a thin zinc coating. At $28, the price is competitive. I just wish the entire clamps were stainless, not just the bands...

Really nice clamp assortment. Verified non-magnetic with a magnet with the exception of the bolt which showed to be slightly magnetic. I have seen verified stainless steel be magnetic though because their composition contains iron. Great value for the price.

I use hose clamps often for garden hose repairs, and from now on I will use this type of clamp. It is far superior to the conventional hose clamp you're probably used to... see attached 2 photos for old vs new. With the old clamps, I sometimes could not tighten them as much as I needed. The serrated metal tab that mates with the adj. screw would "skip" when I turned the screw to make the clamp tight. Another thing I hate about those old clamps is that the metal tab sticks out and can injure someone when they grab the hose end.This assortment of clamps contains various sizes. The clamps are labelled with a number range like "20-22", which seems to be the diameter range, in millimeters, for the application. When the clamp is fully open, it's about 5mm larger than this range so you can slip it over the hose, and when you cinch it closed it will go down to the target size. (In my case, around 21mm for the garden hose. So the clamp marked "20-22" was the one I used.) It's possible in some applications the range of adjustment may not be as wide as you want. This is about the only negative I can find with this product. And that's why they have an assortment of sizes, I guess.Overall quality very good. Made of 304 stainless steel. This may seem like overkill for applications like repairing garden hose, but I really like the strength and quality, and I plan to buy more of these.

We have four diesel engines on board, carry 1500 gallons of fuel and 500 gallons of water. This means we have a lot of various size hoses and of course hose clamps. The only time we can go to the hardware store is when we've anchored in the area and can ride our bicycles there. So it's important for us to keep a good stock of parts and we ordered this kit because we have many hoses within these sizes. We try to use SS T-bolt clamps for everything below the waterline because of strength and reliability versus the standard perforated band clamps that tend to rust through in a short period of time, especially when we're in a salt water environment. T-Bolt clamps are far more robust and dependable.These T-bolt clamps are as good quality as any of the other T-bolts that we've purchased in the past. These are a full 3/4" wide with nicely beveled (flared) edges which I prefer. This is because the beveled edge clamps will have much less tendency to damage the hose when the clamp must be tightened very tight to prevent leaks, and especially if there is any vibration involved, like on an engine. These use a standard 10mm wrench for adjusting and the hardware on the clamps is also 304 grade stainless steel. The threads on these clamps are very smooth and the welds all look good.I've done a bit of market research on Amazon and find that at the current price of $18.99 ($1.35 each) this product is priced very competitively for 100% stainless steel T-Bolt clamps that are this wide and with beveled edges. This is a good size range of T-Bolt clamps for smaller jobs. When you really need to go a step above and want to get it right the first time this is the go to clamp design. These T-Bolt clamps avoid the uneven clamping problems and lately the predominance of the cheaper, thinner generic screw types that strip out just when you're are applying the final torque. I've been using plain band Pex-type for smaller, nice neat custom motorcycle installations. If you re going for an industrial look these clamps are hard to beat for easily applying full circumference uniform high pressure. This 14 clamp set is high quality, industrial strength, and an excellent value for a good variety of sizes.
