I use a two single ramp system to load my mobility scooter into my truck. The ramps are narrow and subject to being out of parallel. I obtained an adjustable stud holder but it was limited to either 12 in. or 16 in. spacing and I needed variable spacing. Ordered this small toggle hold down clamp, removed the thumb screw for 12/16 in. original settings and epoxied the clamp to the stud spacer. Works great and can be adjusted to sizes I need. Works great.

these things are so hard to figure the right size a pic in Somone's hand or next to something to get the size

Me gusto por que funciona al 100% en para modelismo. Ya para trabajos de carpintería existe el mismo modelo pero 4 veces mas grande para sujetar mas de 45 a 75 kilos o más.

Pros: It's very well made! And; unlike 99% of what comes out of China, claiming to be stainless steel / aluminum; it actually is! Even the rubber bumper is quite stout. It's -a-l-m-o-s-t- as though they mean this to be used for actual work!Cons: I'm not sure who would have a use for such a...petite...clam. I took one star off for that, because it was not at all made obvious that this clamp was so small. I just assumed it would be somewhere within the size-range of "useful". I didn't realize it was sized to "teddy-bear-scale".

I does what it is intended to do. This is a small clamp, some will say miniature. The black rubber tip is molded onto a philips screw. So far so good. In my case, clamped onto finished wood, the rubber stuck to the finished wood and pulled off of the screw. There does not seem to be any way to put this back on to the screw. The wood finish was well dried wood primer. After the two parts parted ways, the rubber part the proceeded to fall off of the primed wood. As it recovered from its as clamped distortion, it simply detached and fell to the floor. So the adhesion was not great. The clamp is used to clamp an attic ladder hatch closed. The clamps spends a long time locked down.I like the stainless steel finish and as a visible item in my house, I know it will not age to some old gray oxidized state over the years.
