This waterproof camping/hiking tarp folds up and stores in a tiny little bag making it perfect to throw in your hiking backpack or camping gear. It is inexpensive and very lightweight. Although I will be using it as a waterproof mat to sit on while hiking, it is definitely big enough to put under a two person tent to keep it dry. The material does not seem like it will tear or rip easily.

Don’t let the light and pliable material fool you. This held up with flying colors under a two-person tent. I used it on an uneven dirt surface with some rocks, at a campsite near the south rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Colorado. It got wet and muddy during a rain storm, but dried quickly and was easy to wipe clean with a paper towel when I packed up on Friday.

I am not sure how long it will last, but for the price you get a very light weight tarp of decent size. I have found it very useful for more than just a footprint, and I use it as just a general all purpose tarp that is very light and packable.
