Great leash! I got it for my miniature dachshund, the length is perfect. I had to create a new muscle memory to click the stopper, it works different from my previous leach. I like the color and the material. It works very well, I would recommend it!

Had a small retractable lead for my daschund, purchased this as wanted a lead with a thicker line, will never go back to the thin cord lead as this is far stronger, perfect.Update lead has broken, do not use that often and it has now broken on me, maybe not so good after all

I’ve been using this leash for the majority of my first dog’s life and planned to use it on our new puppy too. It feels good in my hand and the locking feature is intuitive, especially after using it for 13+ years. We had to buy a second one on amazon since they don’t sell these exact ones locally anymore. My puppy was still in his teething phase when we first introduced him to the old leash so it was almost chewed through. If you have a chewer that likes to protest being on a leash, I wouldn’t recommend this since it doesn’t hold up to abuse well. But it handles my 18-20 pound dogs just fine when used properlyThis is the only leash I will use due to its comfort and controls. I’m expecting this leash to last for at least another ten years if there are no chewing incidents so I hope kong doesn’t stop making theseThe only thing I have a minor issue with is that drops on concrete will result in nicks and scratches but that is understandable considering it’s being dropped on concrete and it’s made of a material that’s sturdy but comfortable in your hand
