As far as functionality goes, I am happy with them. They have color temperature and brightness, and are remote controlled. They are flexible enough to light in many basic styles, and do the trick for someone starting out in studio video or photo. My main criticism is that the electronics for the lights are all part of the bulb module, so there is no way to pack it up and put it away. The best you can do is unscrew the bulbs. The rest of the light module does fold up, but then you've got this large bulb that basically needs to sit in its own bulky box. Not the best for portability, so I suppose I'd recommend these for an at-home studio that doesn't need to move.

I’m thrilled with the Andoer Softbox Photography Lighting Kit! Setting it up in my home studio was a breeze, and the bi-color LED lights offer fantastic versatility for different lighting needs. Whether for portraits, product photos, or live videos, the results are professional-grade. The adjustable light stands and sturdy softboxes are a huge plus. I highly recommend it!

Would recommend these lights to get started in photography for basic content creation usage. Lights are super bright and stand is adjustable in terms of height and light box angle. I also like that the lights have no brand logo. However, the stand is not the sturdiest. It is quite light, which makes it convenient to move and carry around. In certain positions, the light stand can tip over. Also, based on the loosening/tightening of the screws to lock certain heights or angles in place, it seems like this will wear out over time. The remote control buttons don't do what it supposedly seems to. For example, the "on" "off" and "sleep" buttons don't do anything. Overall, nice budget-friendly lighting and functions as bright light source, but not the best quality or sturdiest in some aspects.

You can find similar 85W ~ 90W bulbs like these all day on Amazon, so there isn't much to say about them. They do the three broad light colors: warm, daylight, cool. They get really bright and reasonably dim. They have an included remote control that is so-so. Nothing special about these. The lightboxes and stands are also basic. You aren't getting the highest quality stuff here, but it is functional. I would say if you are just getting started and plan to use this for video production or photography in a small space, or close up to objects, these are fine. But as a "studio light" that you can setup and tear down from time to time, I wouldn't count on these to hold up. The material is pretty flimsy and while it works, I won't be disassembling them for fear of them coming apart.

When I started recording videos a year ago, I was between this style of softbox light, or a small set of LED flat panel lights. I decided on the small budget flat panels. I knew I had made a big mistake almost immediately. These lights aren't exactly perfect in all regards either, but they are adequate for a budget lighting set. The tripods are on the lower end, but at least they don't bend while using them. If you bump the softbox it might partly collapse. Some of the buttons on the remote don't even seem to be for this light? There's no storage bag, besides what the actual softbox comes in. There's also no actual settings for reference besides, "that looks pretty good". Okay, enough complaining, this is a budget light set. In use, these do actually work really well. They have a good range of brightness, and color temperature. The softbox's also do a decent job of providing even and soft lighting, and are quick and easy to set up. Not exactly perfect, but for someone starting out, these are a good budget option.
