This backseat extender is perfect for any dog. No more worrying about my dog falling on the floor if I brake to hard. This extender can hold any size dog and will not fold. Very easy to install and remove if needed. Highly recommend this extender if you travel with your dog frequently.

We take our two dogs on fairly long trips (12-15 hours) every two to three months. We recently purchased this “Backseat extender” and it seemed to allow the dogs not only additional space, but additional comfort as well. They seemed both happier and calmer throughout the last trip, which was even longer than usual due to inclement weather. I would highly recommend this product. I should also mention that it allowed us some additional space, as the backseat floor is inaccessible to the dogs, so we could put additional things in that space.

I bought this for a long road trip so that my girls could both have their own space and more room in the back seat. I have two dogs, both 55-60 lbs, one black lab and one Staffordshire terrier. It can be crowded in the back seat with both of them on a trip. This has a mesh middle on the part that sits against the front row seats so that the rear seat AC vents can still get air flow to them. My only complaint was that it absolutely reeks of plastic straight out of the bag. I took it out, put it in my car attached to the seats, and then left it overnight. By the time I came back in the morning to drive to work, my entire car stank of plastic and I had to roll the windows down to even be able to drive. It took several days to get it aired out, so give yourself time for that. But it was so useful on my trip that I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if I somehow lost it. It keeps the dogs from getting into any bags you store in the floorboards and really gives them more space. It has cut outs for seat belts so you can safely secure your dogs. It comes partitioned into 3 sections so my sister was able to lift one up and still sit in the back seat completely separated from the dogs. I thought the girls would use the extra space to spread out but mostly they used it to lie side by side and snuggle, which was very cute to constantly look back and see. Really came in handy and I'd highly recommend it.
