I was definitely hesitant when I opened the box and saw that there was no launch mechanism inside the tubes. I assumed I either bought the wrong item or simply bought something fake. I can happily say, these not only did the job, but made for the perfect baby announcement.If you have a dog or a kid who doesn't love loud noises, these are exactly what you are looking for. The tubes are filled to the brim with multi colored confetti, and an easy-to-remove cap on either end. To use them correctly, pull off one cap and give it a hard flick of the wrist in the direction you need them to go. Each flick empties about 1/3 of the tube so that you can have multiple rounds of confetti flying around.My one suggestion (assuming its not a surprise), use one of the tubes as a practice round before taking photos. It definitely took a few practice flicks to get it just right. But after that, we were able to take the most perfect photo of our son announcing his new baby brother, without a single worry of an instant cry from a loud confetti sprayer.

Having a gender revel in the summer it’s hard. It’s too hot outside. We were able to have it inside and the confetti was so easy to clean up

I was expecting these to “explode” out more when I lifted it up. But it took about 5 seconds of shaking, then the colors just fell straight down to the ground after we just started throwing them towards the ground. We tried to do it again for a better photo and my wife’s did the same thing, and mine didn’t come out at all. I ended up breaking it open and the confetti was so jammed in there, it still didn’t come out. So we gave up trying to get a picture with confetti in the air. A paper bag full of confetti for $2 may be more practical. The seller did work with me on helping address my issues, so the seller is good.

I bought this product for the Mom and Dad and both sets of Grandparents so they had something special compared to the others purchased for the rest of the guests. They were stylish, however, this product was a little more expensive.

One wand came showing the blue confetti on the end. I had to use a black Sharpie to block it out.Also, instruct the people holding the wand to not look directly into the wand end directly because you can see the colored paper under the white paper covering the opening. My six-year-old son yelled , " I see blue" right before we started. No powder made for an easier clean-up and overall happy for cost.
