I love it! It works very well with a smart switch however, you need to read the instructions to figure out how to make it work. The smart switch can turn the blanket off and then later on it will turn on at the same temperature it was when it turned off. This means I can get into a warm bed. The heated mattress pad is below another mattress pad so that I cannot feel any wires at all. Ever since I got rid of the mechanical mattress pads, which did not have automatic shut off I had been searching for something that I could use with a smart switch. This definitely fits the bill.

I bought this right before we got a major cold snap this winter, and I'm SO happy with it. I like that it's 100% cotton, and the twin xl fits perfectly on my side of our split king adjustable bed. Now I can be warm and toasty, while my husband enjoys his freezing cold side lol. I preheated it for an hour before first time I used it, and wow, what a revelatory experience it was when I went to bed! Instead of bracing for the cold mattress to suck out whatever measly body heat I have, I'm now greeted with a warm, relaxing, enveloping hug. My husband laughs at my new climate-controlled biosphere, but I don't want to live in a world without it! The cord is heavy duty/high quality, it's easy to use, and I like that there are 20 heat settings to choose from. I did notice that some reviewers said that their mattress warmer suddenly stopped working after a few months, so I made sure to register my product with Beautyrest for their 5-year warranty. So far so great - highly recommend! Oh, and our heating bill has gone down 18% compared to the same time last year :)

My one star is all because of the useless support for this product and I’m really glad we bought it through Amazon. Think about support down the road before you buy Beautyrest. We bought the king size heated mattress pad. Got it in 4 days, good delivery. It installed quite well and the fit was good. Plugged the controllers into the outlets (you need one for each) and plugged the controller ends into the pad. Turned it on and both controllers were set to 20 (max). I left it on for about an hour to make sure it was working. Lowered the temp. to 15 and shut both controllers off. Went to turn on the controllers about 2 hrs. before bed, then checked an hour later and only one controller was on? I unplugged, switched sides and nothing, completely dead. Contacted Amazon and they suggested calling Beaytyrest Canada. They could do absolutely nothing except give me a phone number for some company, JLA Home in California in the US. I called them and they were the WORST support I have ever seen in my life. All I wanted was for them to send me controllers that work and all they kept saying was “contact the seller”??? Their suggestion was to order a new one from Amazon, that’s how our “warranty” works. What a crock of you know what. So, Amazon is sending a complete new heated mattress pad (what a waste) and I’m going to crumpled up the first one, which should be fun as it was vac-packed, and send it back. Sheeeesh

I was worried about the placement of the connection at the foot end, but they are hardly noticeable, unless you go feeling around for them, you would never know they are there. The power cords are long enough. Temp setting 9 is plenty warm and the timer works great! Love it! Adding that, this will not work with an automatic timer, at least not mine.

Estoy muy satisfecha de esta compra. Calienta muy bien y es ideal para las noches frías en una casa o departamento que no tenga calefacción central.

Great product! Initially bought this mattress pad heater with 2 controllers for my husband. We keep the thermostat turned down and he is more sensitive to the cold than I am. I never thought I would use my side, but I now enjoy the comfort and warmth this product provides as much as he does.I was initially worried about the one star reviews about the controllers not working. In fact, one of ours stopped working after two months. But no problem! Do NOT use an extension cord. Follow these steps exactly to reset your controller (provided by BeautyRest customer service).There are several causes to this problem:1. Bedding product is plugged into an extension cord, surge protector, power strip, or not plugged into a direct wall outlet.2. Bedding product wasn't plugged in properly.To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your bedding product:1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.2. Unplug the cord from the actual bedding product itself.3. Re-plug the cord into the bedding product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.If the 4 steps above are not followed in order, the bedding product will not properly reset. After resetting and the problem still persists, the blanket, mattress pad, or heated throw and control(s) need to be sent into our factory for repair or replacement.
