Pour faire des trous pour une clôture, mais ça prend une bonne perceuse à fil ,celle à batterie n'est pas assez puissante

Seems sturdy. Mounting hole to driver is round with a pin. Was hoping for half inch drive shape for impact gun but I'll figure something out.

This is a really tough bit. Not junk like you see out there for $20 or so. This is a real auger bit that digs holes. Mine was already used is very tough clay and gravel bed to cut a 20 ft long trench about 18" deep and it is still ready for more. With just a bit of the edge and tip paint worn off its actually better cutting now then it was out of the box.I placed this on a drill adapter to a large high torque drill to be able to dig a drainage trench under a house in a crawl space. Two things to understand about this process, number 1 there's only a couple small real auger bits out there that will do the job of digging hard soil. 2. most of them are not easily mated to an adapter for a drill.1. This is tough and ready to work. It'll cut a hole in seconds to the length of the bit even through clay and gravel. Drive it just like you're drilling through wood with a forsner bit and it'll cut with little effort. In and out in small bites to clear the chips.2. The cheapest adapter bit fit slightly loosely, but pinned in effortlessly. There's another high quality bit I bought that has a very thick pin that doesn't fit any of the cheap adapters. To use that tool you have to buy a $50+ adapter.Mated to the proper high torque drill this cut a trench in a confined space where other tools would not fit or function. If you're looking to cut a hole in hard soil this is a great option. I will own one of these forever so I can plant without effort or dig anything I'll use this to break up the soil save me time and energy. When it wears out I'll buy another. You can see that other bit in my garage with its pretty bright red paint all shiny and new. Yeah it never saw action because the trench was done before I found the right adapter to fit it. Had to buy 6 of them to find the right one. Should have just returned it but it's also a very nice bit.

With the reviews, I had anticipated this auger might provide mixed results or at least be difficult to operate. The reality could not have been more different!! This auger goes through tough ground like a hot knife through butter. My soil is a layer of sand on top of hard packed clay (think concrete). Obviously it cuts through the sand layer with ease, but the real surprise is that when I hit the clay layer, the screw-point lead dug in and you could feel the blades pull clean through the clay. When I pulled the whole unit out, it left nothing but a clean, cylindrical hole 4" wide and over 2 feet deep. Absolutely perfect!! And I'm only using a standard 18v Makita brushless screw gun. No impact hammer or gas-powered earth auger. The same screw gun I use to sink wall screws and drill small holes through wood is suddenly grinding deep holes in hard packed earth with ease!! This auger feels solid and well built, like it will last for years. Quick Note: it requires and adapter to work in your screw gun...which I bought on Amazon for about $13. Together, they make a fantastic team!! I'm stoked that this year's planting will be made infinitely easier with this fantastic tool!! I'm certain it would work equally well on ice, if that's your thing. If you're thinking about buying an auger for earth or ice...this it your tool!! It kicks A$$!!!
