I have a tall and slim toddler with a bubble butt who loves dresses. I've bought footed tights in the past that have worked generally well, but due to my daughter's build, they always seem to be falling down in some manner - if they fit her height, they are too wide at the waist; if they fit her waist, to short in height. I decided this year to look for footless tights and as our usual source of tights doesn't carry much in way of color, I went for these. I'm very happy. They are nice and long, fit her but and waist, and have the cable knitting I love so much on tights. It would be nice for there to be a non-cable-knit option as well, but that's not a deal breaker for me. We used them right away and almost immediately (as usually happens), my daughter fell on concrete. Her skin was scraped underneath, bleeding a little, but the tights didn't snag or even look like they took much damage at all. Once wash and the little stretched out part from the fall righted itself. That is five star in and of itself.I was annoyed that they didn't share the fabric composition of the tights from what I could see on the listing, but I believe they are a high percentage cotton if not all due to the fact that it did shrink a little in the wash. Still works great for us, but something to know if they are fitting exactly how you want on arrival.Suffice it to say that we are so pleased with these that I came back and bought two more packs.

I purchased these in a size 5-8 years for a 46" tall little one. I hate that they have that stupid split back-seam instead of one single seam like on regular pants, but for now, I can distract little one long enough to forget about the annoyance.The nice stretch does allow for breathability but I'm a little concerned with how warm they'll be come winter. At 50 degrees, they're perfect.Each pair also has a cable-knit design which lends them more to the holiday season rather than the fall, when they are more useful with the temperature. The design also clashes with a plaid uniform. I couldn't find any darker-gray, long, ribbed-style leggings for fall that weren't for babies, so these were a bit of a compromise. I also really only needed the gray but the seller forces these multi-packs so now I have to store all the other pairs as well.Lastly, the one pair I needed was the one pair that was stained and snagged. The snag is on the back of the thigh and the stain is high enough up that I didn't bother to return and re-order.Not terrible, but I'll probably try something else next year.

Love these pants/leggings. I ordered size 1-3yrs for my 1 1/2 yr old and they fit her well. They are a bit long for her but just gives her room to grow into them. She is 20pounds for reference. I thought they might be see through but they are pretty thick so she can wear as pants. Happy with my purchase!
