This is by far the most flexible borescope I've used. Coupled with the articulating head it's incredibly to navigate around obstacles and articulate the camera at objects of interest. While testing this out I started poking around in the depths of my drier and I was able to extract a pen spring that had fallen around some bends. Very agile and easy to use.

My last Boroscope was a harbor freight cheapo. The difference in picture quality and screen is incredible. This looks about as good as a new cellphone in both camera quality and screen resolution. When I first went to use it, I forgot to remove the screen cap, and I was impressed that I could make out details on the inside of the cap! There are some flaws here, though. First of all, I love the case, but it seems the hardware is a little cheap. The pull tab on one of my zipper fell off because the zipper arm had bent, straight away. I put it back on and used pliers to close it, but it seems like it's real flimsy metal like aluminum or zinc. Secondly, you can only rotate the screen 180 degrees with the screen rotation button. This is compounded by the third issue, which is the end of the boroscope can only be angled along one axis. This means you might be looking at the screen sideways, which you've also had to rotate the whole apparatus, to get the angle you want. kind of awkward. The user interface is also not very intuitive. The "Freeze camera" button kind of looks like a flashlight light.Overall, for this kind of money, I feel like you might be better off getting one that's better in these areas, even if you have to spend some more.

There are countless times where this borescope would have been the perfect tool to assist me in an automotive repair, plumbing, construction project, or finding a small part or hardware that fell in a tight spot.Having a borescope is something I have been wanting to have in the tool box for some time. It’s one of those tools that you don’t think about until you really need it.This scope seems to be well made and has a lot of great features. The ability to record video and take photos to an included 32Gb TF card is a great feature. In order to view the photos/video, requires the TF card to be inserted into a computer. The image quality is very clear; having the ability to save pictures and video where the boarsope is reaching is a great feature for finding solutions and sharing details of the findings. The LED light at the end is dimmable for proper lighting of any given situation. The kit also comes with a few different small screw-on end pieces to see and/or hook items that the bore scope is reaching.Charging of the internal battery is handled via the included USB-C to USB 3.0/2.0 cable, and it comes in a custom caring case.Overall this is a great borescope that I’m sure will pay for itself after just one or two projects, and it may be the only tool that will be able to help in certain circumstances. I’m very happy to have this unit in the tool box, and I can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality borescope with all the important features it provides. This is an indispensable tool for any mechanic or handy man to have.

Easy to use, charge it up, turn it on, look around. The only thing probably others have mentioned is that the neck is not stiff at all, it's flexible. Probably wouldn't hold up to regular mechanic duty but you could probably buy a few at this price before you even came close to a tool dealer

I have a couple of borescopes for various use cases. This one is the nicest of the bunch. The cable is very short, about 5 feet. So, it is great for short distances. However, if you're hoping to explore deep within an air duct or plumbing pipe then this might not be the best choice. I have a borescope with a 50 foot long cable and it's also great but for very different use cases. The picture it produces is very clear. The fact that you can pan the camera fully left and right is *extremely* helpful if you're used to a fix camera like I was. Not only does it only you to get your bearings better but you literally get a better picture of the hole you're in. It is also arguably slightly easier to use the attachments because of the articulating head. The light works well in close quarters for which it's intended. I had no problem seeing in air ducts, shower drains (I didn't know our showers were that gross), and even my hydroponic gardens root system (very neat!).The interface for the camera is a little clunky. Kind of par for the course for these types of items, I guess. But, at the end of the day, it gets the job done. The included manual is pretty decent and tells you everything you need to know. It's actually worth a quick flip through.Final Verdict: Approved. I kind of wish it had a 10 foot cable. But I knew the length going into the review and can't hold that against it. Very useful product.
