I hoped that it would look more like good ceramic and it looks like it is plastic because the top is plastic and it gives the impression the whole thing is. Also it is light weight giving the impression that is plastic or low grade ceramic. Pump works ok so far. May have to pump twice to get it started. This product is okay, I just had hoped for a premium product.

Sometime during the COVID lockdown, with all that hand washing (happy birthday tooo youuuu x 2), I fell in love with foaming hand soap. Now foaming soap dispensers are mandatory at my house. I had one brand I loved, but it usually died after about a year’s use. That got old, so I asked Amazon to show me more reliable foaming soap dispensers. This one came out on top, and its lower profile also works better in my kitchen.The pump seems sturdy and the dispenser is easy to refill. (Think uncorking a bottle.) Totally pleased with the quality of the foam, enough so that I’ve ordered another dispenser for my bathroom.

April 1, 2025I just ordered three more of the foaming hand soap dispensers. After spending about $140 trying out other soap dispensers for a new house, we finally found that these are the quality we were looking for. Unfortunately, the other ones although they were nice looking the pump mechanisms were junk. They would either pump nothing or they would jam up or you had to dilute your soap to make it work halfway.Plus, the other ones weren’t designed for liquid or foaming soap individually .We use hand soap from Bath & body Works (coffee & whiskey) and I didn’t know that those hand soaps had to have a special nozzle to turn a thin liquid into a nice fluffyhand foam. The dispensers we bought before were strictly for plain old liquid, and when we would pour our foaming hand soap in there, it would just cord out thin liquid.Anyway, in case you like using the hand soaps that foam up into a light and fluffy foam, this foam soap dispenser is the one you want!!These are not heavy quality, ceramic jugs and the top pump mechanism works nice and easy. Perfect for my wife’s little frail hands. You don’t have to use the palm of your hand to crank some soap out of these things. Just a light touch with one finger.I kind of liked that they’re unlabeled for our particular decor. However, there’s one little easy way to tell, which is which. The one for the dish liquid or the old style hand liquid the hole that it comes out of his round; and the dispenser for the foaming hand soap the little hole it comes out of is rectangular.I guess my lesson here was that fancy foaming hand soaps are simply a liquid while they’re in the bottle, but there’s something about the design of the pump nozzle that turns it into a light fluffy foam and this dispenser does just that like the factory bottles that you buy those hand soaps in .I really hope that these dispensers will keep performing well just like they have so far. If they prove to be the good quality they look and feel like (or eventually don’t) I may feature them on my YouTube channel (157k subscribers)My other brand of dispensers that I wasted money on were junk right out of the box.Hopefully, I won’t have to come back and update this with sad news. Right now they’re awesome!!Nice work guys!! 👌👍

This container is very cute, kind of fat and round. I was concerned that the ceramic quality might slide on my kitchen sink rim (which is a stone of some sort) but it sits there and is stable and does not slide when used. I give it 4 rather than 5 stars only because I would have liked a way to see the level of soap still left in the container. I don't know about the longevity since I've only been using it a few days, but as of now it is working very well - I am using the correct liquid which is for foaming soap and it comes out foamy as it should. My friend loves this foamy soap for washing his glasses, much better than regular hand soap.
