I am very satisfied with this product due to its simplicity of use. If you intend to record video in prores this is an essential accessory as it enables you to connect an NVMe drive. It is compact, lightweight, and packed with functionality. The aluminum case ensures optimal cooling and prevents overheating. Additionally, it provides a convenient charging port for your phone when connected.

I got a 1 TB SSD that appears to meet all the required specs and installed it in the enclosure no problem. However, I can't see any way to determine if the drive is working since the extra storage doesn't show up anywhere I could see.The drive doesn't show up in Windows Explorer but does show up in a Western Digital utility I have - without any storage. So I can't tell if the enclosure is faulty or the drive. Again, no way to contact the vendor that I can see.Very disappointing - who doesn't need extra storage on their phone.?I also can't see any way to contact the vendor to get help. Their website just sends you back to Amazon and there isn't any contact info on Amazon.

This is an excellent quality MagSafe SSD enclosure. This can accommodate up to 2TB M.2 2230 NVMe drive.The enclosure is all metal with the top cover designed to effectively dissipate heat. It has 2 USB C ports while, one to connect my iPhone 16 Pro Max and the second is aPD port to pass through power to my phone.There’s also a large capacitor inside the enclosure to enable completion of writing to the SSD if accidental disconnection.I installed a 2TB NVMe drive and use it nit only to record ProRes video but to also backup my photos and videos from my phone.Highly recommended!
