Basically, this 180W Dell compatible power adapter works fine, was recognized immediately by my Dell G5 laptop that requires a 180W supply, and operates perfectly. Overall, it appears to be almost identical to the original OEM supply that came with it. That being said, this is not an OEM Dell supply, but it does seem to work quite nicely.The one area and complaint that I do have about this supply, as I do with many others, is the "AC Adapter" sticker applied to hide the "Dell, Inc" logo on the primary sticker. As this implies that the original sticker was somewhat less than honest to begin with, this tends to annoy me a bit and make me question all of the other certifications and information on that sticker. While this seems to be a very common practice and I have seen many compatible power adapters that do this, I still do not approve of it.All things considered though, it seems to work quite well and I have no issues with its functionality.

Excelente cargador a buen precio.. no tengo o no se cómo comprobar si es o no original .. pero trabaja bastante bien

Ordered this to charge my Precision 7540 and it works great! I've been using a 130w underpowered adapter and this one now allows me to reboot without the low power warning, as well as charge at full speed/etc!
