I bought this telescope as a gift for my son to use not only for star gazing but also for watching the marine activities at the port his house overlooks. After having it for slightly over a month, I can say that it works well for both of these purposes, and I am pleased with the purchase. The telescope was well packaged when delivered and was easy to assemble. It is easily portable using the bag that came with the telescope. From my perspective it was worth the purchase price!

We bought this for our son,not knowing much about star gazing. We use it all the time. Its easy to transport and easy to use. It is clear and provides multiple lens. This has really introduced our son to a new hobby. A good price for a good start

I bought this telescope to view the sky from my apartment balcony, and it was super easy to assemble and use. It's also lightweight and easy to store in corners of my small apartment.

I like this telescope and they have dropped the price a lot. But it is very difficult, and sometimes impossible, to tighten the gimbal enough to hold the telescope steady. When the telescope is pointed up between 90 & 140 degrees, the weight of the eyepiece causes the eyepiece to lower and the tube to rise. The handle of the gimbal is well-designed to enable a tight grip and leverage to tighten the gimbal, but it is very difficult to tighten it sufficiently to hold the tube steady.
