I keep a camera in my car and this is exactly what I needed to keep it safe when bouncing around in the passenger seat. It's soft and there's no way it's going to scratch a lens. It sticks to itself very securely and stays "locked" when folded.Just big enough for my mirrorless camera with the pancake lens installed.

My husband is into photography and works as a video editor. He has collected all sorts of lenses over time all in various sizes. I bought him an upgraded camera case for most of his lenses but he likes this for wrapping an unconventionally sized lens like the massive ones with this wrap BUT he does still store them in an additional camera bag just like having a wrap around them. He said he wouldn’t rely solely on this wrap but he does like it as an additional protective layer and find the cleaning function of the cloth.

This is an alright product, and it does it's job well enough. The texture could be a little nicer to touch, but if you aren't too picky it isn't an issue. It is very cool that it sticks to itself, it is definitely more secure than I expected. I wouldn't expect the self-sticking to be secure enough to hold weight or pick up by it.It cleans the lens really well, along with your glasses

It does wrap things and it's pretty neat that it's soft and it does stick to itself without loud obtrusive velcro. But from photography perspective absolutely no more protection than a dish towel provides. If you need something to keep the dust off a stored item it'll work but I wouldn't use it for transportation.
