This phone tether is made well and secures nicely. It's not something I would use daily, but in crowds or where snatching is a problem. It is a little pricey.My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I have been a ClutchLoop customer for a year now and am SO glad they are on Amazon now! THIS is the original anti theft phone tether, and the only brand I trust to keep my phone safe when I'm at a music festival or in big groups of people. The locking carabiner and steel tether ensure that my phone can't be yanked away or cut free. I love being able to whip out my phone whenever I want to capture photos and videos without having to dig in my bag or pocket and possibly miss the moment. The relief I have that my phone is not going to get stolen is worth every penny that the ClutchLoop costs!! I recommend it 100 times over!

This phone tether features a retractable steel line, a universal anchor, and a locking carabiner.Pros:Secure Locking Mechanism: The carabiner is secured with a screw lock, which prevents it from accidentally opening, adding an extra layer of security to your phone.Strong & Reliable Cable: The steel cable is strong and retracts up to 2.5 feet, providing enough reach from your waistband or pocket to your ear when using the phone.Versatile for Outdoor Events: Ideal for situations like concerts or outdoor activities where you don’t need to charge your phone during the event. It keeps your phone secure while still being easily accessible.Universal Anchor: The universal anchor makes it easy to attach the tether to various phone cases, adding flexibility for users.Cons:Permanent Attachment to Case: Once attached, the tether is permanently stuck to the inside of the phone case, which can be an issue for those who like to switch cases frequently. You’ll need to decide carefully which case to use it with.No Retraction Lock: The tether does not currently have a way to lock the retraction when using the phone. A system like retractable dog leashes could improve usability in this area.Charging Port Accessibility: When using the tether, it blocks access to the charging port. I tried it with 3 different cases and I couldn’t plug in a charging cable on any with the tether in place, which is inconvenient unless you’re using a magnetic charger.Extra Anchors Not Available: There’s no option to purchase additional sticky universal anchor pads, so you’re limited to using the tether with just one case.Overall:The Anti-Theft Phone Tether offers great security and is ideal for outdoor events, but its permanent attachment to the case and charging port accessibility could be better. With some improvements, it could be a more versatile and user-friendly option for those who frequently switch phone cases or need more flexibility with charging.

I have lost 2 phones at festivals from getting it stolen. It’s literally the worst feeling in the world, I, no longer have any fear when going out at night to a big club, or to any festival, I just keep my clutch loop on my bedside table, and bring it with me Every weekend, it is the best feeling ever to be able to keep my phone in my pocket and never have to worry about it!!! So worth it!!!! A bunch of my friends got one after I did!!

Went on a hike up a mountain with tricky paths and my clutchloop was there the hole time holding my phone. My friends were jealous of how easy I was for me to snap pictures and then just throw my phone away while it was still hanging from me!
