This set is made of the same material that basketball jerseys and shorts for adults are made from, with tiny ventilation holes throughout the garment. There is a faint, rubbery smell that's typical of the fabric that, iirc, doesn't go away until after several washings. However, the smell isn't overwhelming, horrible, or toxic-smelling. The smell is OK, really, because the basketball the kids play with smells rubbery too, as does the shoes they wear to play basketball!The shirt is a sleeveless black jersey, trimmed with stretchy red and white athletic tape around the collar and armpits. The number 23 and the words "BALLS" are boldly printed in red with a white outline, and the number is repeated on the back with the word "SPORTS". The jersey looks just like Dad's, and is well-constructed, with a little stretch.The shorts have a simple elastic waistband and have a longer-legged cut just like adult basketball shorts. They are also trimmed in red and white athletic stretch tape around the hems. The number "23" is also printed bold on the leg of the shorts, matching the jersey.The set seems true to size, and is unlikely to shrink due to the fabric its made from. All-in-all, a durable and attractive set for an active child! It would be a great gift, especially if it was paired with a child-sized basketball hoop; wouldn't that be an unforgettable birthday or Christmas! 10/10, a cute and functional set.

I have bought this set of a tracksuit for my son, and in less than a week, it has turned out to be his favorite one. The lightweight, breathable fabric just fits for all his outdoor activities, especially basketball. The mesh design keeps him cool during play, and what's more, it is very easy to wash and still holds up after a few cycles in the machine.The fit is spot on, the length of the shorts is great-not too short or too long, which sometimes is an issue with kids' clothing. The colors are vibrant, adding a fun sporty look that makes him feel like a little athlete.This set is great for my active kid, and I'm happy to have found something that really combines both comfort and durability. Highly recommend it!

If you love "The real Goat" then grab this for your little one! Great stitching, no itching. Fits well. Good material. Id highly recommend!
