Decent, strong olde English bulldog so generally don't use these type of leads but it done the trick for a beach trip where we wanted him to have some freedom

Receive these just a couple days ago figured it'd be a while before I could evaluate them but today proved that they are 5 star ready. They are made out of what appears to be good quality material. strong snap and a good strong spring. I attach them to my golf cart while I go around my little farm doing chores so that my dogs can sniff around and be with me at the same time. I have a 75 pound male boxer who absolutely hates squirrels but don't they all. I had no more then stopped to let them off the cart when he saw a squirrel and took off when he got to the end of that 26 foot chord he was flying and it jerked him on his back he had a harness on of course, the cord didn't break the spring didn't break the clamp didn't break the only thing it did do is for that little arrow on the picture shows you where it cut through the collar where the cord comes out and it still held up.Now you wouldn't want to be holding on to this thing if a dog took off at breakneck speed when it got to the end of that cord if you didn't let go it's gonna jerk your arm right out of its socket I'm telling you this from experience and this cord is not going to break.

Worked fine for ten months then the return spring broke inside.

I love this leash! Not only is it sturdy, it provides 25’ of cable for your dog to sniff around on walks without being tied to your hip!Feedback to MFR: The only negative is the handle is a bit cumbersome. It’s ergonomic and comfortable for your hand and has to be big to accommodate the 25’ of cable but I like to be hands free sometimes, so it would have been nice if you could revisit the handle design to fit both hands and a way to slip on wrist? Or an attachment clip so I can clip it to my backpack on hikes/ walks in wide open spaces.

After trying many retractable leashes for my 60 lb., 7year old pooch, this one won out. Especially for our nighttime walks. Attach a couple of small lights on the latch area and handle make it even more noticeable. It has a thicker ribbon and tighter retraction mechanism than the others I had and tried.
