It's good to have as a spare that fits in your purse. I wouldn't recommend this for consistent use, especially if your dog chews at the leash at all. The material is very thin, which is obvious that it would be, but it shreds easily if they chew. It also doesn't retract smoothly if you extend it all the way, you have to make sure the tape is flat and feed it back in kind of slow. The button does a good job of locking it in place and the size and wrist strap are perfect.

I brought this so I could have an emergency "oh no I forgot the leash" in my car. I like how compact it is, and it does what I need.I don't like the clip however, it opens in a weird way, like a claw, and though I haven't had an issue yet it seems kind of flimsy. I only have a little silly sausage dog so I doubt it will be an issue, so if you have a stronger breed just be weary.

When this product came, it was fine except for the clasp that goes around the ring on pet's collar. It broke the first time I put it on and would not close on its own. It's very flimsy and gold colored (I guess to look nice) but rest of collar seems fine. If they had just just a stainless steel decent clasp instead of the cheap plasticky one, it would be a great leash for the price and don't think it would have cost them any more to produce. I have sent it back and they're sending another but I don't expect it to be any better.

This is a great "minimalist" leash for small dogs who walk well and don't pull much. The leash operates smoothly , using minimal resistance. Thus, it doesn't put much pressure on your dog's neck.The leash is made of TAPE, not cord, so the chances of hurting yourself or others are slim.Also, the wrist strap is super convenient, especially if you're multitasking or it's cold outside - you can walk with your hands in your pockets, keeping them toasty warm.The length of the leash (6.5 feet) is perfect - providing your dog plenty of room to walk, sniff and greet others.Finally, the price is amazing! Excellent value for the money.I deducted one star because the clip is pretty crappy, as others have mentioned. I'm concerned about its durability. If it breaks I'll replace it since I like the leash itself so much.

Being small is great but as far as lasting with everyday use it wares out very quickly falling apart after about two weeks of dog training. Used on min. Schnauzer and did not hold up.
