Not sharp at all. Barely scored the glass enough to even snap it. Better of using a metal file over this thing. Waste of money.

It will work if you make it, however it's very poorly made, the hinge of very loose and flimsy, and it's like I got it out of bubble gum machine... it's garbage

Although it does cut like its supposed to and has even cut a glass tube, my only suggestion would be a way to keep it closed. I use a rubber band just so its more compact and I someone else doesn't reach and cut their finger. Other than that, it's very strong and durable, and does what it says it does

When I ordered I saw a few negative reviews that referred to the “cheap” quality or the products inability to cut glass, and I think I’m here’s just a misconception here. First, the product is only a few dollars... so... it is cheap! However, it’s metal, and it works so in my opinion it’s he best one on Amazon.Second, these devices are not meant to cut the glass all the way through. They are meant to score the glass in a uniform line. Once you have a score all the way around, simply get the score mark wet and push on the other end of the tube with the focus of your force where the score mark is. It will snap easily every time if you do that!
