Like everything else in our society these days the quality is much less. The parts that were brass in the original were plastic in the kit. I went the extra mile and made sure everything was lubricated. The seals seem to be made of good material. Hopefully it will last a few years.

This kit fits very well in the 510 model. Took about 30 minutes to install after I viewed a you tube video on installing a similar model. Had installed a new rubber seal earlier which didn't solve the problem with water escaping but this did so problem was the ball and or the spring.

I replaced seals twice, trying to get the bowl to retain water-to no avail. Bought this and now it has water in the bowl even after sitting for weeks. You do have to take apart the toilet, but in less than an hour I had fully resolved its issues.
