I got this to work with the Honeywell T9 thermostat, as a second sensor. The T9 averages between the two sensors, and I can set priority between the two sensors and the main thermostat. So far it’s working well to provide more even heat with less temperature swings. I’m considering buying more, but wish they were a little less expensive.I’m worried that these will stop working, based on reviews, but so far so good.

I bought this because I wanted to make sure my baby’s room was the right temperature. I can also prioritize the thermostat to his room with this sensor, making his room the perfect temperature every time. If you put the sensors in multiple rooms you can even set the thermostat to be based off the average of the two rooms. It’s great! I want one in every room!It’s also very easy to install, it comes with the 3M tape and is very sturdy. I haven’t tried removing it yet but I don’t think ill ever have to!

Our thermostat unfortunately is placed where it gets morning Sun for part of the year, which has always made it think the home was warmer than reality on cold February mornings! So.. enter these remote sensors at C$24/ea. I placed one out of direct sunlight in the main living area, and used the T9 thermostat's touchscreen to set it up and to use it rather than the sensor built-into the thermostat itself. Problem solved, and the sensor is in a better area of the home as well.Got a second sensor for the master bedroom area, too. These are easy to install (special double sided foam mounting tape included in the package), and use a dedicated RF link to/from the thermostat rather than WiFi (the thermostat itself also does use WiFi).Recommended at C$24/each! I might get more of them..

This was probably the work of a negligent warehouse employee and a delicate package being crushed by heavier items. Other than this product coming to me in a package that was broken open, the product appears fine. I haven’t used it yet, but this is one of those products I think will do its job just by looking at it. But, if not, I’ll be back to revise my review. I’d give it a five star for the product, but that would be a lie, it wasn’t perfect, thanks to the packaging.

I really like it that it is a smooth blade and not jagged. Less tearing of patterns.
