I purchased these towels looking for something lightweight, thin, quick drying to replace my traditional bath towels with. Despite multiple reviews stating that they are NOT very absorbant I didn't have the same experience. I Google turkish towels and realized that most people who purchased these most likely did not soak them in cold water for at least 12 hours (overnight in bathtub) before I first washed them. When I opened the package I poured a cup of water on the towels and the water ran right off but after soaking overnight they became extremely absorbant so much so I purchased additional. I love them.

I bought these to cover my sofa so my dog doesn't get it dirty. The silver color is great, works well with my furniture, and they wash/dry very well. It's funny that I get compliments on them, when they're used for this purpose. I do wish they were truly woven Turkish towels with the full-color pattern on both sides, but for the price, they're still worth it.

In an ongoing effort to save $$ anywhere I can I was looking for lightweight bath towels. I can hang dry these after washing and they are ready to use the next day. They aren't fluffy soft but they are soft enough. One side provides great exfoliating action. If I hang dry traditional fluffy towels it takes days for them to dry and they are so stiff! Plus these take up much less room in the linen closet. I'll never go back!
