These were purported to be waterproof for skiing. They are not waterproof! My daughter went skiing for the first time and fell a bunch. The gloves were entirely soaked through to her skin.

These lighter duty vinyl mittens have a soft inner lining, faux leather grip, and are probably good for driving and indoor RV movie watching in the winter. They're great for my particular application.I'm a man with larger hands, and I now have 5 different glove types for different uses. I'd never planned on this. It just happened. I get cold fingers and have a low budget.

Glove is not as pictured. Has an ugly grey patch sewn on which says "FASHION GLOVES." This is not obvious from the product image. Had it been I would not have ordered.

I live in the upper midwest and having several pairs of warm gloves is a necessity. I picked these up thinking they'd be a backup and was super surprised at how well made - and how warm - they are. They're super soft inside and out and - so far through the fall - have been more than enough for walking the dogs. Not too bulky to make carrying leashes a problem, but certainly warm enough to be comfortable. Bottom line: I'd buy again.
