This is my first tart pan and it works beautifully. I’ve had no issues with it. The quality is evident and I will continue to buy other Fat Daddio products.

Los moldes de Fat Daddios se sienten siempre muy ligeros, pero no como si se fueran a romper. Este es muy, muy liviano. Lo he usado un par de veces y funciona muy bien para dorar las bases de las tartas, pero recomiendo usar mantequilla y un poco de harina para cubrirlo antes de montar la masa. Esto parece contraintuitivo (las masas de tarta y pay suelen no pegarse), pero ya me pasó que en este molde se pegó horrible. La tarta estaba divina, aunque no pude sacarla. En la foto se alcanza a ver el molde. Es de notar también que los moldes de esta marca se manchan muy fácil (las manchas son como color mate). Es normal.

Excelente producto. Sin dudarlo me compraría otro igual o de esta marca.mu6 buen producto,es ligero pero eso no impide que el pay salga muy bien. Lo recomiendo mucho

Fat daddio, es garantía de calidad, super feliz con mi compra, superó mis espectativas, una gran pieza para la cocina, es una delicia cocinar las tartas con este molde desmontable.

This tart pan is made from anodized aluminum. From what I can tell, it is made without any chemical non-stick coating, yet it works perfectly and the crust never sticks.I have used this to make several different tarts already, all of them have turned out beautifully with crisp,flaky crust and evenly cooked filling.The loose bottom allows you to pop the tart out when it is done, without any worry that you will damage the crust.Some other reviews have mentioned that the removable bottom piece is sharp on the edges, but I did not find that to be the case. The edges of the removable bottom piece I received are dull. I do not consider it to be dangerous at all, but of course we should always handle kitchen tools with respect and care.I use a 10" with the 9.5" version of this tart pan and the fit is perfect. The edges of that pie crust shield are sharp though, so if that is a concern you may want to go for a silicone shield.This tart pan along with the pie crust shield fit perfectly into my which is awesome for baking single tarts.As others have mentioned, cleanup is easy and straightforward. The two pieces coming apart make washing this tart pan very simple.

I received this pan from Amazon today. I really hate giving this kind of review but this item is a serious safety hazard. The circular bottom edge of the fluted pan (not the removable bottom piece) is RAZOR SHARP! This is not a design flaw. I'm sure it is the result of a manufacturing defect and lack of quality control. The pan is made in China like most everything else these days.Normally I would take a half-round hardened steel file and smooth out the sharp edge. But I don't think most customers would care to do that with a brand new item. And why should anyone need to? Doing so would also create another problem because filing the edge would remove enough of the protective anodized finish to expose the underlying metal to premature deterioration.Minus this defect, the pan is sturdy and well designed for an attractive price. It would otherwise probably rate 4 or 5 stars from me.
