I recently purchased this water filter for my turtle tank, and while I think it's a solid product, it wasn't the right fit for my current setup. I believe the filter would perform much better in a deeper tank, and using river stones or pebbles instead of sand substrate might help as well. Sadly, the sand kept getting sucked into the filter, which caused some issues. Despite this user error, I can see the filter’s potential and would definitely consider repurchasing it once I upgrade to a larger setup. Overall, a good product with room for improvement in specific environments!

The photos I have added are from before I installed the uv sterilizer and the day after I installed it. You can clearly see the difference. This products works well. I could not be more satisfied. They advertise a 72hr period from installation to clear water and after one full day it is already almost there. I did buy the unit that can work efficiently with a 150gal tank even though mine is only 55gal. It was only another $10 and it as you can see it's worth every penny. And very cost efficient as well. It came preassembled its very quiet and even though the directions lack it is very easy to use. I would recommend this product.

Was I not supposed to use it with fish in the tank?I put it in in the evening and when I woke up five out of my seven fish were dead, all three of my African cichlids and both of my loaches. The only two that survived were my Placos, I rushed them to a new tank and they seem to be doing OK for now but I have no other explanation for what happened other than the new device that was put into their tank. I’m so sad. 💔There is some sort of weird white film on the old tank surfaces, it seems that whatever the device was doing, had an adverse reaction with my tank and my poor Fishies. I wonder if it is only suitable for certain breeds? Either way, just be very, very, very, very cautious and maybe clean your tank with the fish out of the tank and then when the tank is clean, Put them back in.

This product works wonders! Our tank was so green and nasty looking you couldn’t even see the fish swimming anymore. We tried everything and constant water changes! Algae bloom was full force. Within 4 days our tank is so clear and clean. Our fish are so happy and healthy looking! I highly recommend this product!

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made. My 55 g. tank had an algae bloom that I couldn’t get rid of. It was so green I couldn’t even see the fish unless they were right up to the glass. I tried EVERYTHING. After 24 hours of using this filter it was drastically better. 3 days in and it is crystal clear. Works great! No noise, great quality, well worth the money spent.

Del tema de los rayos UV no estoy seguro si funciona bien ya que no hay forma de verificar si la lámpara enciende y la velocidad de filtrado es muy rápida entiendo debe ser con más lentitud para que los rayos UV hagan su función de esterilización
