Alright, so I just got this turtle tank filter, and I set it up yesterday. It's a black box, nothing fancy, but it does what it says. I have a 20-gallon tank, and it seems to be working fine. The water is clear, and I don't smell anything weird. The waterfall thing is kinda neat, my turtle seems to dig it. I did notice that the instructions mentioned something about the water level, you need to keep it above a certain point, otherwise, it might overheat. I'm keeping an eye on that. Cleaning it seems easy enough, you just pull out the box and wash the sponges. I'll see how it holds up over time, but for now, it's doing the job.

I love this filter for my turtle tank! I was soaking my other two 4 tier filters and this sole short stack cleaned the who 40 gallon tank overnight on its on.

Which is the water good and it gets it clear, but it is not quiet. It started out quiet when I first plugged it in, but now it is really loud and I mean like a couple days later from me opening the box and putting it in my turtle tank Now I hear it loud vibrating against everything and I have the plungers on. It’s not touching the glass I don’t understand what’s going on. Maybe it’s defective. I don’t know, but it is low quality I can

After 4 days the water is completely murky. This filter system DOES NOT WORK.
