I like the stretch material that offers flexibility with various size toilets.

These covers are a thin, black stretchy fabric with elastic around the edges. You just stretch them over the toilet lids and pull them off when you want to wash them. The have a square texture on them and are a little see through if you stretch them all them way. They stay put well, don't have anything that would pull your hair or snag your clothes. They are a flat fabric, not a fuzzy or furry fabric.They both can wad up together into the size of a fist, so they do not take up much space in the washer. They seem like they would air dry pretty quickly, if you wanted to air dry them.

My husband was getting frustrated with toilet lid covers that would make the toilet lid not stay up, and it’s hard to find anything these days that will fit a classic, round toilet seat! So while we’re not crazy about the color, the fabric is nice and soft, and the elastic goes all the way around. I didn’t really need the toilet tank cover, as ours has buttons on the top to flush, but I can actually put it on the lid, too, though it’s more narrow. On a round lid, this has a LOT of safety around the edges, which gave me the idea, since there’s obviously no padding, to put my own padding underneath. I cut some 1” thick foam roughly to the shape of the toilet lid, and stretched this over it to hold it in place, and the additional padding makes it quite comfortable to sit on, AND the lid will still stay up for my husband, even with an inch of foam under the cover! So this works for us. Maybe the company will make it in lavender or purple one of these days, but I didn’t deduct points for the color as I knew what color it was when I bought it.
