The insertion tool was too big in diameter, and would not fit inside the coil. I had to grind it down on a bench grinder to make it fit. Then, the coil would not go all the way into the hole before the tang broke off.Not a well-engineered product.

As another reviewer indicated, this kit ships with a 6mm insertion tool and punch (but the correct tap for a 4mm insert). I bought the kit because I was almost out of inserts for my true USA made Hekicoil kit, which has the correct insertion tool (actually a better one with a plastic barrel that squeezes the insert as it inserts making insertion smother). So, they are just shipping what they have and not bothering to correct the stock I gave it two starts because the inserts worked fine and the tap is Ok..

Came with the wrong inserting tool. I just needed the inserts.
