Bought two, one lasted less than a year with very little use! Finger's crossed for the second one.....Side not, when they get hot, they do throttle back... My more expensive 750W invertor typically only put out about 250-450Watts.... as it was always running very hot... not sure what would happen in a roof application.....

I am using the micro inverter with two 200 watt solar panels in series. The unit gets hot but have not had any issues with it shutting off. I placed it on the side of the house and in the shade.

I love how easy it is to set up. I made the mistake of not wiring it correctly. After a few attempts, it started working. I used a "kill-a-watt" plug in line meter just like the YouTube videos. I get about 75 Watts out of what would be considered ancient solar panels. Four of them on a cloudy day produce about 90 Watts. Once I put them in a more strategic place I expect better output and efficiency. The fact that I can look at my power meter, unplug this unit and plug it in to see the usage spinning meter slow down is convincing enough for me.

I wanted to give this five stars. What I received plays well enough, sounds great, and I’m satisfied with the quality for the price I paid. Though it does have a lot of small imperfections.I’ll start with the pros, which are mostly aesthetic:- The guitar pictured in the listing has a silver tailpiece and pickups, which looks fine, though not as pleasing against the body color as gold-tone hardware would be. So I had a really good first impression when I opened the box and saw that both the tailpiece and pickups were gold.- The inlays are absolutely gorgeous. Especially the abalone inside mother of pearl inlays on the neck.- It looks like someone did a basic setup before shipping it. The strings were so low, in fact, that the 6th string buzzed from the 5th fret up. The frets themselves were fine, the bridge had just been taken down too low. But the truss rod didn’t need adjusting, and I count that as a pro because it amounted to less time and work than I normally have to put into setting up a new guitar.- The sound is actually quite nice, despite the cheap pickups. But I’m giving it four stars instead of five because:- There were some blemishes in the finish. They aren’t visible from a distance, you really have to look closely to find them. And they’re hard to photograph with a cellphone camera. But there are several, ranging from small bumps that weren’t sanded out or indentations that weren’t filled to some scratches around the bridge pickup.- The pickups aren’t terrible, but most amateurs could have done a better job installing them. I took out the bridge pickup to get a better look inside, and as I was unscrewing it, one of the screws wouldn’t lift. It turned, but I had to lever it out because the wood was stripped around it, so it was more like a loose nail than a screw. This was sold as a new instrument and not a warehouse return, so my best guess is that the pickup didn’t pass the QC process at the factory and someone did a rush job replacing it. Whatever the cause, it’s going to take about half a day and some wood filler on my end to correct.I put a set of flatwounds on it, which took about a day to settle. I’ve played it for a few days now, and it stays in tune. The tuners, by the way, aren’t great, but they work well enough, I don’t see a need to replace them any time soon. The bottom line is, if the instrument needed more than a day’s worth of work to setup or repair, or if it didn’t stay in tune, I’d send it back. But it does the job I bought it for, and it’s quite fetching, so I’m keeping this one.I bought this because I’ve purchased two IYV guitars before that were easily five-star instruments for the price I paid. I’ve found the brand in general to produce really good platforms for modding; the bodies and necks are high quality, while the electronics are easily replaceable with a bit of patience and some soldering skills.

Connect to LG 250W (Oc 7.0A @ 32.5V, 228W; less than optimal perfect sun)Output was about 1.7A@119V circuit voltage. So just under 200W output.Doesn't play along well with Y&H inverter on same circuit, causes a reduction in efficiency. For the price, seems to work well enough.

Has good tracking and voltage range. It does run hot as others do so I decided to protect it once I liked it.I mounted it to a heavy steel plate with some copper flashing in between so heat soak now takes much longer and the temp is much more flatline instead of highs and low on a cloudy day. I bought an aluminum heatsink on amazon which is a perfect size for the front of it (dont forget heatsink compound). It now runs half the temp that it used to and takes a couple hours to get there instead of 5 mins.

Too bad, so sad! The guitar does look good. But it is heavy. I sent the guitar back over a week ago. I still have not gotten a refund. I looked to see where the guitar is at, and now I am being told there are delays. WOW! How would Amazon feel if I buy something and then told them I had a delay in giving them their money? Not cool! For me, I am done buying guitars online. Nothing but a huge hassle in getting my money back when things go wrong! I will not be buying another guitar from Amazon! Looks like refund won't happen until the end of Dec. or later. So buyer be aware.I did get a credit back on this guitar. It did not go in as money back like I wanted it to. I wish now I had kept the guitar and fixed it myself. Not fair, I can't use the credit to toward money I owe Amazon.

Hello everyone.First of all, let us get this out of the way. When someone purchases a guitar (whether it is used, refurbished, displayed model, with minor imperfection, or a new one) at some point you are going to set the action, set the intonation, treat the fret board, file the fret ends, replace/modify the knobs/switches/bridge/strings/pickups/neck/etc. to your preference. It is no difference when you buy your vehicle. Eventually, you are going to change/add/replace/modify items on your vehicle to your liking. And that is fine. With that said, please do not count these components as a negative criticism towards these guitars.Let us just focus on the guitar itself. With minor tuning and neck adjustments, these guitars are ready to play right out of the box. As you know, minor tuning and neck adjustments are common with any guitar you purchase. The finish, quality, and construction of these guitars are awesome. The headstock is eye-catching. The neck is straight. The frets do not have dents/divots and are smooth (no sharp edges). The fret board is fine. The body is beautiful. The joints/seems are connected to satisfactory. The hardware (pickup selector or switch/output or input jack/volume & tone knobs or controls/bridge/pickups/pick guard/tuners/electronics/screws/nuts/strap buttons/fret or inlay markers/fret nut) are nice, functional, and tight. There may be some small blemishes or cloudy finishes here and there, fret board might have some kind of dye on it, but nothing really significant that would cause you NOT to play the guitar immediately.I’ve made NO modifications or changed any components on this guitar and had no major issue with feedback noise, guitar getting out of tune from hours of play, components getting loose or not working, breaking strings, electrical issues, etc. Again, everyone has their option on what they consider feedback, guitar out of tune, components getting loose or not working, breaking strings, electrical issues, etc. And that is okay. It also varies on the equipment (amps/stacks/pedals/cables/etc.) you use and how you play these guitars. In conclusion, these guitars are attractive, feel great, look fabulous, sound terrific, entice you to play them and definitely fun to play.I’m sold and I’m a HUGE fan of the IYV Guitars! I wished I could have purchased the earlier models when they first came out. If I had the money, I would buy all the IYV models. For an electric guitar under $200.00 and with no shipping fees, these guitars are an excellent investment! I will say it again. Not only are these guitars gorgeous, but they are also a pleasure to play.I hope IYV will continue to produce new models or have older models available because I am excited in purchasing them in the future.Thank you IYV Guitar company/staff for producing this magnificent product!

when i received my guitar it was open box it had horrible buzzing and and the tuners wouldnt turn when it was fixed couldnt ever get the buzzing out but i still like the playablity better than chineese guitar cause it didnt sound like a box guitar wood sounds better and has certain depth to it that makes it sound and play better the pickups are kind of thin sounding but they sound pretty good they are kind of cheap also and most stuff made on the guitar all kind cheap but you cant really expect to much for a full size hollowbody at this price point for the parts it made out of but because they way it plays you can tell its not a chineese guitar that usually sounds like a dry boxy sound this guitar has more depth and makes it more playable in my opinion cause the wood sounds better or something and the strings and the neck feels pretty good but it had to be set up and changed the strong s the bridge was super low it might be cause it was open box it has a tall fret or something or it might be weather that makes it buzz after the bridge was raised and lowered the strings on the neck part it still didnt make the buzzing go away it is set now about 2 on the top e string and 1.5 on the bottom high and replaced the tunning keys cause the ones that went to it were horrible and really hard to turn but they do stay in tune really well but after all that work had to be done to it fret polish and oil the fret board and set adjusted neck to lower strings and raised bridge it still has a slight buzz on the fret but it helped it alot guitar plays pretty excellent still for what i do just play rythm action is at 2 on top string and 1.5 on bottom the intenation not that great but the guitar still sounds and plays better now than any chineese made guitar i would pick this guitar over just about any chineese made guitar cause the depth and sound and more playable still luv the guitar plays pretty excellent now i would highly recomend this guitar for the stuff they have out now is all mostly chineese made this ones made in veitnam it probably will need a set up or it might have just been mine cause it was open box if you decide to get one

when i received my guitar it was open box it had horrible buzzing and and the tuners wouldnt turn when it was fixed couldnt ever get the buzzing out but i still like the playablity better than chineese guitar cause it didnt sound like a box guitar wood sounds better and has certain depth to it that makes it sound and play better the pickups are kind of thin sounding but they sound pretty good they are kind of cheap also and most stuff made on the guitar all kind cheap but you cant really expect to much for a full size hollowbody at this price point for the parts it made out of but because they way it plays you can tell its not a chineese guitar that usually sounds like a dry boxy sound this guitar has more depth and makes it more playable in my opinion cause the wood sounds better or something and the strings and the neck feels pretty good but it had to be set up and changed the strong s the bridge was super low it might be cause it was open box it has a tall fret or something or it might be weather that makes it buzz after the bridge was raised and lowered the strings on the neck part it still didnt make the buzzing go away it is set now about 2 on the top e string and 1.5 on the bottom high and replaced the tunning keys cause the ones that went to it were horrible and really hard to turn but they do stay in tune really well but after all that work had to be done to it fret polish and oil the fret board and set adjusted neck to lower strings and raised bridge it still has a slight buzz on the fret but it helped it alot guitar plays pretty excellent still for what i do just play rythm action is at 2 on top string and 1.5 on bottom the intenation not that great but the guitar still sounds and plays better now than any chineese made guitar i would pick this guitar over just about any chineese made guitar cause the depth and sound and more playable still luv the guitar plays pretty excellent now i would highly recomend this guitar for the stuff they have out now is all mostly chineese made this ones made in veitnam it probably will need a set up or it might have just been mine cause it was open box if you decide to get one

My unit came through with a slightly small missing piece of veneer on the side that was feathered in and is almost invisible.Other than that, fit and finish is about perfect. Like others said, I think the top is not photoflame.Slight movement of the bridge brought intonation in dead on, lowered the bridge to a good action, and away I went.I waited almost three days to plug it up. I was NOT disappointed. This thing is a semi-hollow in some ways, with the block that runs through the middle glued to the top, from neck to bottom. So technically, this is NOT a hollow body acoustic. It is not meant to be, and THOSE WHO THINK THEY ARE GETTING TWO GUITARS IN ONE, AN ACOUSTIC AND A ELECTRIC ACOUSTIC, THINK AGAIN.This is definitely a electric semi-hollow, albeit a HUGE one, and it puts out HUGE sounds.First time I plugged it up, I went wireless, clean through my pedal board, to my Peavey Classic 50.WOW, what a sound. The lows are bottom low, and the highs ring out like magic. It just rocks the house.I LOVE THIS GUITAR...Just to be clear, I am a luthier in SE Tennessee that sees maybe 100 guitars a year in my shop, for all kinds of repairs, restorations, and setups. This unit may need a bit of a setup, but minor, and to be honest, I think a string change will be all this needs.Kudos to IYV for putting out a LOUD AND PROUD semi-hollow dreadnought.Caveats:This thing is HUGE. By far the biggest guitar I own, and I own about 35, since I collect off-brand guitars as a hobby to my business. This thing makes my Xaviere Tonewood Series look small. The pickups, Destiny Wound, are just fine. They send out the lows you might want, and the highs are there when you want them. I am just fine with them, and have no plans on changing them.It could use a bone nut, and I may put one on.The turners are serviceable, better are out there. But at this price point, I plan on staying with them. Not a big fan of the wooden bridge, but it works. Thought about putting on a Tune-a-matic, but thought why? It works. No whammy, so no need.Overall, this is a genuine steal, and if you are looking for a big dreadnought for reasonable price, I dare you to find one that is this cheap, for this much guitar. I know, I look every night, and this stood out above all the rest.Highly recommended, not for beginners, but for players of jazz, blues, rockabilly, bluegrass.
