Iv been skating my whole life (25 years). I stopped competing and outgrew my old skates. These are great and one hell of an eye catcher in the sun.Breaking them in are slightly harder due to the material on the outside. They've creased significantly. Dirty, bumpy ice will mess up the rainbow film. Iv beat these up and i have no shame in it haha.I worked a season at the outdoor rink in Detroit. Wore them 5-6 days a week. I changed the insol to something more comfy. I can wear these a whole shift with no issues (5-8 hours).The blade IS PERMEANT.

Too big :/ I think it was my own fault in my measuring though. I got a 10, should went with a 9 like my natural shoe size. I have wide feet so I was worried but I'll reorder a 9. These are super good quality, the inside is padded and these feel soooo nice.EDIT - my 9s arrived 2 days later, they are AWESOME! Cant wait to skate!
