If you have the time to read this go ahead. This is gonna be a long review.I have had this pickguard for a little over a month I think and I love it. It really makes my strat sound and look better, but as the title says, there are some issues that may just be on my part.For example, the kill switch. I probably did mess up when soldering it but it buzzes when the kill switch is engaged, but not when the kill switch isn't engaged.The coil splits work well, but I have no idea how to tell which way is split or not. It might be my fault though because I never looked into it all that much. (I might do that after I write this review)The ease of installation is the easiest I've ever done, because it's just 3 wires. A ground wire and 2 wires for the killswitch and the volume.Its an 11 hole pickguard that fits almost perfect on my guitar because i have a small problem with the tone knob area which again might be an issue on my side with it. The area just sticks up for me and I can't get it on there.All in all if you don't have enough money for parts or experience in soldering, this is the best value for your money.

En un principio no supe cual iba soldado al jack JAJAJAJA pero esta bastante decente, calidad precio le llaman, tal vez compre una mas

Product Review:For less than $30.00 USD, I feel like I got a great deal!Exactly as advertised. Reasonably well made. Easy installation.For a quick, inexpensive upgrade, I'd highly recommend this loaded pickguard.The pole pieces on the bridge humbucker line up perfectly with the bridge and strings on my Chinese made Johnson Strat O'Copy.The pickups are obviously not going to be the quality of a Larry DiMarzio or Seymour Duncan product, but they perform really well on what for me is a practice guitar. The coil splits add some extra tonal variation, and I've had no issues with hum even when the coils are split. The single coils that were originally installed have the normal characteristics of a singe coil: They hum. LOUDLY. This pickguard is a real step up from the original pickups.I'm a huge fan of the tonal characteristics of a twin rail mini humbucker in the neck position, so I have it all: no 60 Hz hum, and twin rails in the neck and middle position(s)!Mine looks slightly different than the advertised product due to my preference for the old, original knobs over the black knobs that come with the pickguard.Pictures include the original (Johnson) pickguard, the new pickguard installed, the new pickguard with original (Johnson) knobs and two for reference on wiring the output jack.Wiring Instructions:You'll find two black wires coming from the third lug on the volume pot. These are ground wires.One will go to the grounding that is normally attached to the vibrato claw where the springs attach.(Yes, that is a vibrato. Vibrato refers to pitch, tremolo refers to volume. The bar affects pitch, not volume, so it is a vibrato, not a tremolo.)I had an existing wire from the claw, so I soldered the existing claw wire to the one of the ground wires from the third lug on the volume pot, and then covered the solder joint / connection with electrical tape.The second black wire will go to the ground on the input jack, on the lower (bottom) sleeve tab.The blue wire coming from the kill switch connects to the upper / hot tab on the input jack.Hopefully, these instructions will help you out if needed.The pickguard measured in correctly, but as noted from another reviewer, the mounting screw holes didn't line up on the guitar, so I had to drill new pilot holes using the new pickguard as a template. One hole was too close to the existing hole, so I filled the existing hole with a toothpick. And again, as the other reviewer noted, the holes you may need to drill will be covered by the pickguard and if you go back to your old one, that pickguard will cover any new holes you may need to drill.

Realmente el sonido es muy bueno, me encanta el poder hacer coil split, todas las pastillas funcionan correctamente, el único detalle que encuentro es que los bajos no tienen tanto volúmen, aunque no sé si sea por la costumbre de otros humbuckers que tengo que hacen que suenen demasiado fuertes, fuera de eso realmente de me hace un precio muy bueno y es excelente para darle una nueva vida a una guitarra, en mi caso una china

Generally I'm a big fan of finding good value on budget pickups and the sort. It is possible to find amazing pickups for a good deal. This is not that. These pickups are horrible and not worth the effort of installing. The soldering and assembly was good. Unfortunately the pickups they chose just are awful even if you do have low expectations. I have had much better experience with other companies products that are similar.

Bought this for the unique electronics style, pickgaurd is quality. the dual hotrail pickups are fantastic, nice tone and throughput into effects modded or clean amplifier, the pole switches and volume/tone pots are good for the price.The big humbucker doesn't work at all and kills the output from the bridge hotrail . It tests at zero output so it's possibly shorted out inside somewhere or faulty otherwise.No way to ask for a replacement humbucker. Not worth returning because everything else works great. I replaced the bad pickup with an older spare I had in the parts bin and it works fine and sounds great.Slightly disappointed with the bad humbucker but still happy with remaining product.
