I bought 2 lamps. They are pretty but hard to put together. One lamp arrived without the bulb, the other lamp did not have the clear plastic washer to protect the base or the washer for the shade to be balanced. The cord on both twisted terribly and was a hassel. It took way longer than 6 minutes to put together. I will keep them but the beige in the design appeared to be darker online. It is very faint and the lamp is a bright white. I was wanting more of a cream.I'm keeping them because it is not worth the hassel of trying to repack them. You had to tear the foam away from them. Geat for shipping but not for repacking.

The base looks disproportionate to the shade. It is a big beefy base with a small shade. Perhaps that is the look the manufacturer was going for, but I think it just looks odd. It has a heavy, expensive-looking ceramic base, however, the gold metal trim looks cheap. The trim is also not the color it appears in the pictures. I was expecting a more bronzy-gold and this is a bright yellow gold. I might have kept it and looked for a different shade, but I couldn't accept the cheap looking trim.
