Great quality frame, very well packaged and individually wrapped. I would highly recommend this purchase. I bought 6 of the black frames for a project.

As an artist and photography enthusiast, my apartment is less of a living space and more of an art gallery, thanks to my ever-expanding collection of works. In my quest for the perfect frame for my larger pieces, I stumbled upon these 11 x 14 picture frames. Their simplicity is their superpower—plain, black, and as versatile as a Swiss Army knife, but for art. The ease of opening these frames is akin to a gentle breeze—no fiddling, no fussing, just a swift changeover that even the most indecisive artist would appreciate. They don’t just frame art; they elevate it, all while maintaining the kind of understated elegance that says, “Yes, I’m sophisticated, but I also know how to have fun.” If your walls could talk, they’d definitely thank you for dressing them in such fine attire.

The TeniBYC Frame has wood grain that does not distract from the picture. The frame comes with mounting hardware to string across the frame, an easier way to hang. The glass is clear but creates a lot of glare (see picture). The clips are very easy to swing away to insert the picture.

I take a lot of photos, which I mat, frame, and hang throughout my home. I have used many different types and brands of frames. These are among the very best I've seen.The frames themselves are actual wood: Most frames these days are constructed using MDF (medium-density fiberboard). I selected the black and they are finished matte black, with a wood-grain appearance. The frames are very solid.The front is tempered glass, which is a great choice if actual glass is being using. It has some weight to it. Many frames these days have a plastic sheet instead of glass, which can be OK, but if you wish to have an archival, professional look, these are a great choice.The backing board is very rigid and there are 8 points where the backing board is held in place. I have seen many frames this size (11x14) that have only 4. There are two bendable wall hangers attached to the backing board, accommodating either vertical or horizontal hanging.Also provided are two tabs that can slipped onto the backing board, to use the supplied picture hanging wire. Including these items is very unusual.I didn't deduct any stars, but these would be perfect if a mat were provided.The frames were packed extremely well.Great item: Highly recommended.

These are beautiful, well made frames that enhance and don't distract from the picture.
