Good quality shorts but the sizing seems way off. We measured with a tape measure and picked a size based on their sizing charts. The size we ordered was a 10/12. When the shorts arrived I took them out and they looked like they would fit my husband! We didn't even have to try them on our son they were so big. We just threw them back in the bag and returned. They looked like they could have been shorts for a big man. We ended up returning and going with a different brand from a different retailer. Double-check your sizing!!

These shorts are good quality and have nice designs. My son didn't have any noticeable issues with rashes or chafing, but they are definitely too small by a couple sizes. My son is 9 and I bought size large (11-12) and they fit snugly now, which means there's no room for growing (especially since there is no active draw string). We went swimming in a lake with a beach shore and there was no issue with smearing colors or sand getting stuck to them. If they were bigger, they'd be nearly perfect.

Love the quality. The bathing suit has a drawstring that runs through the whole waste, which is nice. My son loves pockets and this bathing suit has plenty. It has two side pockets and two cargo pockets. The size does run a little small so I had to get the next size up. It has the nice dry fit material which is why does not stretch and the sizes may run small.
