This rod holder has alot of good qualities to make transporting his gear easier. It's hands free and prevents damage. It's lightweight and comfy. He may take up to 3 rods while this holder has space for 2 more! They are strapped in very well by a buckle and there's a dual zipper to protect the tips. It does not stand up by itself like it may show in the picture though. You'll have to figure that one out on your own. The description of the product suggests a concrete tube. Ummm.... no. I would not recommend that.lol. Perhaps they meant pvc tube? There is additional storage at the top that closes with a draw string. Last but not least it's my bfs favorite color, green.

This replaced a similar bag I had for 18 yrs which had a single strap. I can say that this bag works sooo much better that the other one and it was less price. Great job!

This rod holder straps in 5 rods securely in place. The middle holds a good amount of product but is very tall and awkward for that purpose. The straps are comfortable enough loaded down They could be thicker with more padding. The tan color bends well with most other equipment bags and gear. The top Velcro hods the rod tips securely in place and detach easily for when you need to hurry up and get set up for a fast cast. Definitely organizes your rods and lets you carry more stuff for your fishing expedition.

This would be a means to an end in that you want to carry a bunch of fishing poles at one time to somewhere. Would this be comfortable on your back? Not entirely as depending on what you pack in the center part besides how many fishing poles you are attaching to this there is nothing between that and your back as you would carry this, so it is not going to be the most comfortable thing out there. For what they are selling it for it does its job well and completes its purpose it's created for, but comfort might get lost along the way of you carrying a bunch of stuff and fishing poles in this, but you get what you pay for in the end.The stitching looks to be well done for the most part. I found a string or two hanging off the bag, but it's not anything that affects the quality of the bag that I could see. It will hold a decent amount of fishing poles making transport of said fishing poles much easier. I would recommend this product if you need something to carry a bunch of fishing poles at once for whatever type of trip you have planned just don't expect this thing to last ten plus years from when you purchase it with heavy use of the bag.
