Fleece does shed quite a bit at first. Otherwise no complaints.

I have been looking at these for a couple of years, since we have multiple horses and saddles and getting the right fit for each horse is so critical. This half pad has made an immediate improvement to saddling our horses. Its great, because it goes between the saddle and the saddle pad ( so can travel between horses, as needed.) It seems to really give nice relief for the horse, solves small saddle fit issues. Obviously this won't solve the problem of a poor fitting saddle, but for better weight distribution, etc, on an existing saddle, it really does the job! Although I haven't yet used it with a western saddle, I plan to and think it will work perfectly for both western and dressage saddles. I will likely buy another, and make even more horses happier under saddle.When I first took it out of the package, I was a bit disappointed in the cushion, but then realized it is actually really nice and the memory foam is excellent.Worth the investment for sure!

Bought this pad for my lease horse he’s a bit older and is uphill and it works beautifully. Very cushy, he loves it, I can even feel the extra cushioning in the saddle. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s big. I use a size 16 saddle, and this would probably fit up to a size 18.

I have a Missouri Fox Trotter/Pony mix with MFT withers. This pad keeps the gullet clear of his thoracic spine. The pad fits the horse & his western saddle well. I place this pad over a SmartPak Classic Dressage Saddle Pad. So far so good; I've only used I for a few weeks. I trail ride every day. I hope it holds up as it was expensive. My Equine Comfort Products Cotton Correction Half Pad also does the trick.
