Poorly made product arrived damaged. Mulitiple peices of wood were cracked and splintering. I would advise anyone against purchasing this product.

We use these for quail cages and they are perfect. 5-7 quail per cage, easy to move, easy to clean. Assembly is fast, cage is durable.

I got this to help me separate a bully hen from the flock. It would not work as a standalone shelter outside the run, being open on the bottom and very light. Luckily, it is small enough to fit easily in the run, and the hutch portion makes a good “nesting box,” though I did need to make a liner for my hen. I had been keeping her in a cage, which was 24” square, 2 square feet. This A frame is a little bigger than the cage, having a footprint of 6 square feet.This would be a good cage for integrating small pullets into a flock, so that they could be visible to the flock but protected, so the flock could get familiar with them, while having a dark place to retreat to for safety. It’s small, but I could also see it working for a broody hen and her chicks, with the hutch portion being her nesting box.It’s a nice little structure at an affordable price, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt in terms of rating it, because assembling it, my husband noted a few things, detailed below. He was able put it together, being a handyman, but thinks that someone with less carpentry skill might have a little more trouble putting it together:• One part was labeled C that should have been G• Pilot holes drilled on wrong side on one piece• One step was missing—attaching the back of the hutch side, solid wood triangle• Floor panels in hutch section don’t lay flat as one of them is warped, so my husband wanted to add a stabilizing brace underneath—strip of wood to glue to stabilize, because they don’t meet in the middle, making the floor uneven• Some rough cuts needed sanding to avoid getting splinters

I actually bought this for my small-breed chickens. While it's pretty perfect for them, I wouldn't recommend it for a rabbit. It's not great quality but I didn't really expect it to be for the price.
