This deck is based off the standard Rider-Waite tarot deck and the artwork is visually stunning. The colors are rich and deep and the foil really makes the artwork pop. The deck is a standard size tarot deck but the cards are ultra thin, very flexible, and almost have a plastic feel to them rather than the typical card stock used for a deck of cards. They shuffle super easy because they’re so flexible but they’re also extremely slippery which could make them difficult for some depending on your style for shuffling and selecting cards. The box it comes in is just as lovely as the cards, is the perfect vessel to store them, and has a magnetic fold over closure. The booklet that came with it is really just a small pamphlet with only keyword explanations of the cards but I suspect if you’re interested in purchasing this deck of tarot cards, you’re not interested in the book. Overall, this is a stunning deck and would make a great gift or novelty deck to have in your collection. The pictures don’t quite do them justice.

This is an absolutely fantastic tarot deck!First and foremost it is visually pleasing. The back of the cards shine, and the front of the cards, featuring traditional Rider Waite images, are eye-catching. The edges of the card are black, which is a nice touch.They are very sturdy, as advertised. I bent the cards edge to edge, top to bottom. I did not crease them, just put the edges together. The card popped back up to its regular shape. They are plastic, and therefore likely waterproof. You can feel the texture on the back and the front. I scratched at the cards, and the images and foiling did not budge. On one particularly fine texture spot, you could see the lightest marks from my scratching. I have shuffled them, sideways, and they slipped a little bit. I do not have big enough hands to shuffle them top to top, but they are not super large cards.The book is bare minimum. It gives a history of the Tarot, and does indicate that it is a Rider Waite deck towards the end. There is no other indication on the box that it is a Rider Waite, just “Gold foil Tarot.” The book is 36 pages. In the advertisement material, there are three different page numbers given. That was confusing. It provides standard and reverse meanings and 1 layout with slightly confusing guidance on how to read. I don’t plan to do Tarot, so this doesn’t affect me.The box is sturdy and pretty. It has a magnetic flap closure. However you do not want to hold it top side down, the cards will fall out. The box lid only opens to a 90 degree angle, it does not fold back. Makes it a little more difficult to get the cards out.The item is not perfect, I have detailed some issues. However overall between the quality and the absolutely stunning appearance I give them the 5 stars.

Really gorgeous set of cards. The foiling is mixed with a lenticular effect that is at times very hard to look at but the images on the cards are just gorgeous with excellent colours - genuinely one of the lovelier decks I've seen. The lenticular component is mainly used for rendering very textural details, but I've caught one or two tiny "animations" such as the eyesss of a card meeting the veiwer's then looking away when the angle of the cards shifts. Absolutely brilliant. 10/10 would recommend, be a feral menace with these beautiful cards. The texture of the cards is very slick and they slip very easily - you'll need a lot of practice to shuffle these - but they don't seem cheap or anything they seem really pretty and reasonably durable. There's a guide to make it easy to get started, and a nice magnetic hinge box to store it all in. Just lovely. Great value for what it is.

These are pretty and if you look at photo, they are the same as the Rider-waite tarot, except for cutting off some of the border. I personally prefer the regular cards for readings but I appreciate these for their aesthetic.

I love this tarot deck! I have never owned a set of tarot cards, and certainly, this is a grand deck to behold. The gold-foil finish makes it a flashy item, one that makes anyone take a second look. I have only been familiar with tarot cards through the writing of our book series. So, I already had a keen sense of familiarity with the cards and was able to start playing with them right off the bat. However, if you are not familiar with this deck, the instruction guide is a terrific tool to fill you in. I'm excited to own a metaphysical item like this. Even if you don't plan on using them as a means to reflect your life (they're not designed to forecast the future-- but as a guide and assessment of your current circumstances), you will enjoy the novelty of these cards. They are downright beautiful and would be a fine gift for those inclined toward the supernatural. I've been using them with great results in combination with my book promotions, which have already garnered increased attention. The finish of the cards makes them seem a bit slippery, so hold on tight. You certainly don't want any cards that aren't appropriate for your reading to slip through your fingers!. Again, it's a unique gift to marvel over.
