This is the only toilet paper holder in my house. I've slowly switched them out to this one as the others fall out of the wall or break. I recommend installing it into a stud, vertically just like the picture. It doesn't budge. It also makes switching out the rolls super easy and convenient. Highly recommend.

Solid and well built. You can feel the Weight and know that there is a high brass content in the manufacture of this unit. Excellent mounting system.Worth the price!

You can install this horizontally or vertically. Mine is vertical, and it makes changing toilet paper very simple. Sturdy and looks nice. I am purchasing another for my guest bathroom remodel. Saw that it was only rated 3 stars and felt it needed remedying!

We just remodeled our bathroom and used the entire Kohler Purist line. The line's toilet paper holder is simple and clean with no springs or parts to move when you need to replace a roll. We installed the bar upright (rather than horizontal) on the wall because we did notice that the TP can fall off if the bar is installed horizontally. We are very happy with the look and ease of use.
