Recordatorios:

I have four of these pumps and a variety of sizes and they are all still running and performing okay.The two biggest cons is that they are very noisy and that they get very hot. The metal body of the pump gets so hot you cannot touch it with bare hands and it will melt anything it comes in contact with.They also have very difficult tubing to assemble and the manifold wants to break free of the tubing due to the heavy vibration, but you can work it out with some rigging.They do produce a strong air flow and all of them continue to aerate my tanks well.Air pumps have gotten ridiculously expensive and these are some of the better priced models.

The pump came quickly, and installed easily. It is fairly noisy, but can be muffled somewhat by changing the stiffness of the surface it is attached to. For example I moved it onto a concrete shelf and that made a big difference to the sound output.The pump worked as expected for about 40 days, but then just stopped. No smoke, no noise, no work. Just dead. Thankfully, I reached out to wayyon, and they sent me a replacement. Good customer service. Thank you. Now let's hope the replacement lasts longer than the original! So I recommend the seller, but not necessarily this pump.

I'm using this for my air assist on my diode laser. It has a LOT more CFM air flow than my old air pump, but it's really loud and runs hot. I built an enclosure in a styrofoam cooler, using eggshell foam inside for sound abatement, and an input fan to the enclosure to make sure the pump has moving air to help control the heat. Some sort of speed control would be convenient for air flow control, I'm using a rheostat from a reptile tank heater.
