Was looking for a large salad bowl as we are vegetarian and eat a larger than normal salad for dinners. This fit the bill, tho bigger than we expected. Its more of a pasta size serving for the whole table. We could use the next size down but couldn't find anything- so we kept it. It will work well if we have guests and need a serving size that wont break! With that said, I wash everything by hand since we have minimal dishes, as these would tend to take up a lot of room in the dishwasher. Still - perfect for me as I tend to break things easily and these bounce. 🤣

We have a pretty odd use case for these bowls.. we have Irish Wolfhounds and they need giant food bowls with a gently sloping side wall (rather than straight sides with a corner). We tried ceramic bowls about this size but after breaking 3 decided to find something else. These work great! Good size, light weight, and break free!!

these were the size i wanted for my big salads, but i was shocked to see how heavy they are. i thought melamine was supposed to be light weight, that's why i chose to order these. but they weigh a ton. they might be ok sitting on a table, but i couldn't hold them to eat on my lap while watching tv or something. i don't know what i am going to do with them. too much of a hassle to return them.

I make a really large salad for lunch most days and my bowls are either too small, or my bigger pasta bowls are too heavy. This is the perfect size - fits a big salad for one, or can use as a serving dish for dinner, or for chips etc for parties. But it's nice and lightweight which is really what I wanted. Been using a few weeks, in the dishwasher, seems like good quality. And seems good value for two.

I love these bowls for mixing large quantities. I ended up giving one of my two to my parents. They’re in their 80’s and my Mom has trouble lifting anything with some weight to it. They don’t break if you drop them and cleaning them is a breeze. Nice enough to put on the table for a casual dinner or cookout.
