This has worked perfectly for us. It adjusts pretty well because of the zippers and stretchy cords. It is fuzzy on the inside but waterproof on the outside. I was worried that my 4 year old would find it too uncomfortable and just keep it off but he's liked it well enough to actually use it.This works well for different ages too, since it adjusts so easily. The quality actually seems good so the zippers are actually decent. We're happy with it.

This balaclava is waterproof and works so well. My son wore it tubing and stayed warm and dry. Would highly recommend!

Review of “Labeol Kids Balaclava Ski Mask, Winter Windproof Thick Warm Fleece Face Cover with Adjustable Zippers for Boys Girls”Despite the photos, this product does NOT fit over a kids helmet. I tried it on both the ski helmet and bike helmet for my 2-year-old. So probably not many smaller helmet options. If the zippers actually came open like a typical jacket zipper, then it’s possible it could fit around a helmet. But as-is, the zippers do not completely open so it gets stuck pulling down over the helmet. About half the product photos show it over a helmet, so pretty disappointed.That said, the fit is adequate directly on the head, even for a petite 3-year-old, with lots of stings to cinch down. The fabric feels like a classic 80s-era windbreaker. Light water beads and sheds, but does eventually soak in for severe winter conditions. A suitable and cozy addition to backup winter layers, but disappointing since over-the-helmet was my primary interest.
