Unfortunately the watches were not in a working condition on arrival. Buttons not working which was very unfortunate as not usable !

Bought this for timing runs and drills for football. Accurate, easy to use, metal, not flimsy plastic. Take your time getting to know the buttons. Read the instructions. This is a nice piece. Speed and timing are everything when documenting for college and more so for NFL. Everything else is on the player. I wanted a nice stopwatch. It has weight. Truly a decent price. You cannot pull it out of the box and just go. You need to understand those buttons. You want accuracy from the person controlling the stopwatch too in order for there to be true accuracy. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

It is exactly what I wanted and it functions very well. I like the large buttons that controls the stopwatch functions. However, the Amazon description says that this product uses AAA batteries. Actually,, it uses a coin-type battery which you access by prying open the back. I use it at least seven times a day, and I like it.

O.K., I possibly had higher expectations that this stop watch could never meet. I am a soccer referee, and my watch died. I was looking for something to replace my watch, which had the capabilities of my watch:A. Was LOUD and would get my attentionB. Had preset, selectable minutes to use for end of half, with alarm going off at end of the time periodThis is a standard stopwatch, and has no selectable time period. You cannot use the ALARM function, as the loudness of this stop watch is very, very, low. You could never hear it go off in an active sports setting, where there was crowd noise. The timer works in a standard timer fashion, but there is no 'alarm' setting for the timer.I can only say that the stopwatch does appear to be well made, and is heavy. It would be a great sports official watch, if the alarm setting was GREATLY increased, and it had selectable time period (i.e. 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, etc. ). This is a software upgrade issue, as the body of the stopwatch is fine.
