Buy the actual holder for your radio. This is very strong and stays in place the whole shift.

I bought this as I am always looking for furnishings , etc and I find it an easy way to measure items in a store to get the deminsion, and to measure things in my home. The color I selected is pink and I really like it. It is a nice finished piece and perfect for putting in my purse ready for use. It does not take up very much room. I do highly recommend it .

I often use measuring tapes, for buying clothing online, measuring body shape to keep track, or closets/cabinets when buying storage items. I had some from sewing kits and another one that does not hold when you pull it out to the desired measurement. This one is both aesthetically pretty and functional. I love the pastel pink and leather-like material in square shaped that fits nicely in my drawer and doesn't clutter up like those long tapes. As far as function, as you pull out the tape to the desired measurement, the tape automatically stays at that length, making it easy to then note it down. To put the tape back, simply press the hidden button in the middle of the square. The price is reasonable and I would highly recommend this.

It fits my radio APX 6000 perfect fit. It’s never loose or fall off when running👍. Don’t get the generic one get this one. I’ll save you the hassel. I have a Bianchi belt usually a thick belt. Original clip for this radio holder will not fit my belt. So buy the motorola 3 inch clip. This clip its perfect for my belt. If you have a 1.5 or 2.0 belt original clip is fine. I gave it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this product. Keep up it Amazon🙂👍.

It fits the Motorola 6000 series perfectly. The clip in the back will not fit on my Sam Browne style leather 2.25 inch belt. I use this to hold my radio when not in uniform, traveling to and from training. if you have a standard nylon 1.5 inch or 1.75 inch belt this should work well.
