The bucket was delivered intact with the lid and honey gate. So far it is working well and is now full-of honey. The honey gate will make it easier to fill the jars with honey. We did have an issue with the delivery date and after contacting this company, they resolved the problem fast and with professional customer service. The company handling the issue was Spree-tail. I was amazed at how polite and willing to resolve an issue was. Would buy from them again.

We are new to beekeeping and had help with the honey harvest last year. This year we purchased equipment and harvested our own. When the time was right, we spun the honey into this bucket filtering with 2 different sized strainers. Finally we were ready to bottle the fruit of our labor - that yummy honey! I was the jar person, and my husband worked the spigot, allowing the honey to flow Into the jar then I capped it with the lid. These buckets are just what you need to complete the harvest.One thing that happened to us is we purchased a couple of these buckets. We could not get a lid to stay on. It turns out that this bucket uses a unique sized lid. After writing the company, they immediately sent the right lid. Couldn't ask for more. Very satisfied with these buckets.

This is a solid food grade product. Should last forever.The "gate" makes it easy to fill jars, no spillage
