Are there supposed to be 2 or 3 hoops included? The hoops look kinda ugly, so I wouldn’t expect to hang them on the wall in these hoops. I just got 2 hoops in my kit, unsure if you’re supposed to get 3. I don’t get the point of including 2. Either include 3 or just include 1.Floss colors look accurate though. I’m working on a different kit right now and the floss in the directions is a drastically different from the floss included. So I’m glad to see this kit actually included the floss the kit represented.Would recommend, just unsure about the hoop situation.

While the patterns are cute and the directions are relatively straightforward, the smallness of that pattern is a lot. This particular one I am working on from this kit primarily uses 2 strands for the stitches. This leaves almost zero room for error, and adds difficulty especially if you have mobility issues (like myself)If I had used this kit when I was first starting out, I would have been extremely discouraged with the projects outcome. These tiny patterns with less strands require you to know exactly what you are doing.I do legitimately love this product, everything is up to par. I just wish this wasn't listed as being for beginners. There is probably someone out there that tried learning from this kit only to have a skewed sense of the difficulty level. If I saw this listed for beginners in that situation, I would be horrified to think about what would be considered "intermediate" and run for the hills.Rating it 4 stars because the product is lovely, but the listing is inaccurate. I hope this helps someone find the right kit to start learning.

I made these for my new granddaughter’s nursery because my daughter in law wanted something with authentic looking wildflowers. They turned out beautifully with so much detail in the flowers and grasses. I had to machine wash them to get the blue pattern off but it worked fine. We added a little border of lace on the embroidery hoop before hanging them up.

I've made 2 of the three in this kit so far. I've learned a new stitch (fly stitch), and the results so far are very pretty. I recently started working on my embroidery with a second layer of cloth behind the one I'm working the design on and really love the effect. It helps give the project more body as well as helps disguise the threads traveling along the back side from showing through to the front. I picked up a little over a yard of white cotton muslin to use on these and more stitching, I just cut it to the size of the project and secure it in the hoop along with the designed fabric.Pros:- LOTS of thread in each color for each kit, no worries of running out of any particular color before your project is complete, even if you mess up so badly that you end up cutting thread to rip it out (I didn't but you certainly could without worry).-The thread has a very nice feel, almost silky, so it's a pleasure to work with.- instructions are clear and easy to follow.- Each project comes, as others have stated, in their own pouch, so you don't have to guess which thread goes with which design.Cons:- There are only 2 hoops included! Yes, this is in the description, but when you are late-night impulse shopping, you don't always notice that bit when you are deciding between multiple kits. The pictures show each design in a hoop, so you reasonably assume it will come with a hoop for each project. Lesson learned, double-check the hoops are included before purchase. Since I like to frame stitching in a hoop, now I have to go find one the right size.- I soaked the second stitching, as I always do when complete, for about a half hour, maybe an hour, layed it flat to dry and once it was dry, noticed blue-ish tint around most of the flowers. I went back and looked at the soaking water (I hadn't thrown it out yet, as I am a busy mom) and the water was tinted blue. This was clearly from the dye in the green threads. I knit and crochet and used the same gentle soak I do for all my stitching, in COLD water, so I was very disappointed to see the bleeding dye, especially as this is a gift that I want to have completed and wrapped for tomorrow. I soaked it again with a Shout Color Catcher for a few minutes and gave it a good rinse and am just going to have to leave it as is if it didn't get the lingering dye out of the cloth. So that was very disappointing. The other kit I did didn't have this problem but I don't think it soaked for as long. I'll keep it in mind when I complete the third kit.- The needles it came with are clearly very cheap. I never expect too much from needles or scissors that are included in a kit, but my word, these are flimsy! They were bent by about 1/4 of the way through the first project. Good thing I had invested in some 'straw needles' (aka Milliner's needles) which are quite sturdy and perfect for all the French knots since their eyes don't bulge out like standard embroidery needles' eyes do.Overall, I'm moderately happy with the kits, I'll just be more careful reading the descriptions (number of hoops) and not soak my work for as long to prevent any dye bleeding.

I bought these to mostly practice embroidery for a gift for my boyfriend and now it has turned into one of my favorite pastimes! I am an advocate of doing something to busy the mind while also being enjoyable and exercising of the mind as well instead of scrolling on our phones or binging shows--like puzzles, word games, coloring, reading, and other things. Embroidery has now become one of those things for me and it is truly relaxing when I want to take a break. This one specifically is so cute and I could hang them on my walls as decor! The directions are so easy to follow as well and you learn so many different types of stitches through it. I love this and it is so inexpensive as well! Definitely worth it.
