be very careful when mounting anything more than a simple camera, including two arms together.

This is the most poorly built Manfrotto product I have ever purchased. This is really short for any practical use. 244MINI is a much better option. I clicked returned within 10 minutes of receiving the product.Issues-The thumb screws on anti-rotation attachment does not provide enough grip to tighten the arm to the Easy Link connector on compatible Manfrotto tripods. There is a slight play even when fully tightened.I could not get it to support the 3kg load capacity. How much ever I tighten the lever lock, the arm was always slipping. The lever lock only has one wing/grip , so only using thumb you can tighten it, there is no way to push using index finger. So it is very difficult to tighten.The hex screws used for the attachments are really bad quality, they had already chipped/worn out when I got it. They will not last for multiple changes of the attachments(Not an issue if you do not plan on changing the attachments). Also this does not come with a allen key/hex wrench. The package does not specify the allen key size.I do not understand this model ( 244MICRO-AR), the use of two 3/8 anti-rotation attachments, the only product compatible is Manfrotto 055 and 190 series, there is a need for only one 3/8 anti-rotation attachment. Other attachments provided should have been standard 3/8 and 1/4 screws attachment ( 244ADPT3814)Final Verdict - I'm a big fan of product ecosystems that work together, but with this one Manfrotto totally messed it up. It is costly , short and does not support the load specified. I would not suggest any one to get this model. Even after reading this if you want to get one get the - 244MICROKIT , that has practical screw sizes than 244MICRO-AR

I needed a way to mount my Zoom field recorder to my tripod when doing down-and-dirty talking head/testimonial videos. The Manfrotto 244Micro was the perfect solution for my needed. With the additional purchase of a thread reducing adapter, I am able to mount my Zoom H5 to the arm and then the arm directly to my Manfrotto head. For my needs this is a perfect solution... The recorder is in my eye line and is safe and secure.

The accompanying photos are deceptive. The unit doesn't ship with anything other than the anti-rotation attachments that are on both ends and 3/8 to 1/4 adapter. The cold shoe and spigot shown are not included. The arm itself is fine, but it will cost you another $25 to get the other pieces.

Great product beware of length I couldn't use it I exchanged it . When trying to use a monitor 7 inch or evf of side of production camera it's to short causing the view finder/ monitor to hit side of camera and not sit even

Un brazo muy práctico. Yo lo uso para conectar el manfrotto director a mi tripié. El tipo de terminales es ideal para este tipo de uso ya que sujetan firmemente los aditamentos.Vale la pena checar que la conexión sea compatible con el tripié y accesorios
