It feels very lightweight, maybe a bit cheap. But it works well. Came packaged nicely with info on customer care.Trackballs by nature need to be cleaned a lot, so I always make sure I have clean hands when using it and pop the ball out once daily to clean the bearings with a q-tip. If you don’t want this maintenance, track balls in general may not be for you. But I’m happy so far and don’t feel like it gets bound up very often.I’ve only charged it once and have used it for work and playing games and it’s still holding that charge. Couldn’t tell you how many hours exactly, but it’s gotta be close to 50+ hours. I love that it can remember up to three devices, so I can switch between my work laptop and personal with ease. There’s a nice little button that quickly adjusts your cursor speed, which I actually use a lot for work - I slow it down a lot when working on Excel sheets so the movement is less exaggerated.I got this mouse because I’m getting old and my knuckles started to hurt from my other mouse lol. This has eliminated that problem! It’s no Logitech, feels like a lower quality plastic, but everything else has been awesome about it. Definitely a great ergonomic option on a budget. Totally recommend!

I currently own a very similar trackball that I've been using for several months. I believe they share the same chip, and if that's the case, I can attest to the excellent battery life.In terms of ergonomics, it provides a comfortable experience with the right angle, allowing the hand to rest naturally. The device features large buttons and a pleasant wheel. The ball is reasonably sized, and the DPI settings are generally satisfactory, although occasionally they fall between my ideal preferences. It has the capability to connect to multiple devices and comes with a dongle that can be stored inside the unit, functioning well at a few meters' distance. The wheel does not have lateral bending for scrolling sideways; instead, clicking on the wheel enables scrolling with the ball. However, this functionality is not consistent across all software. For instance, Google Sheets interprets the wheel click as a normal click unless the pointer is on a scroll bar, while ArcGIS interprets it as a middle mouse click. Thus, its compatibility depends on the software being used. What I find less appealing:- The left key sometimes requires a bit of pressure to stay pressed. This became noticeable during operations like taking screenshots that involve dragging and pressing for an extended period.- Although the wheel is enjoyable to use, scrolling with it can be somewhat jerky. Clicking on it and scrolling with the ball is smooth, as is zooming.- The dongle cavity has a lid instead of being a pressure fit. While this prevents accidental opening, the lid is a bit challenging to open and easy to misplace. It's a minor concern unless one needs to access it frequently.- The two additional buttons are limited in functionality, serving only as back and forth commands in the browser and cannot be configured for other purposes. More versatile options like copy and paste, switching desktops, or temporarily changing DPI for precision would have been more beneficial. The ability to configure these buttons freely through an app would be an improvement.Overall, it performs well, offering sufficient precision for graphic design, mapping work, and similar tasks. While it may not be the ideal choice for gaming, it could still work adequately in a pinch.

For those with RSI or some kind of injury or limitation of the wrist or arm, a trackball mouse is the way to go. Unlike conventional mice, the mouse stays where it is placed, you instead, move the pointer by swivelling the trackball with your thumb, your hand rests on the mouse at all times, you just use your thumb and fingers. The hand rests in a perfectly neutral position on this mouse, making it very comfortable, the fingers also are positioned perfectly, with limited movement required to access all the usual buttons. The buttons are also silent to operate. The unboxing experience was great, well written instructions and a quick start guide, though it wasn't needed, just remove the dongle from inside the bottom compartment of the mouse, turn the mouse on, plug the dongle in to the USB - and it just works right away.I have to say that this will take some getting used to, for those familiar with this kind of mouse, then you will be right at home straight away. You can select the sensitivity of the track ball, via the middle button, I found the 3rd of 4 settings to be the best fit for me, it allows me to move the mouse pointer quickly to where I want and with the accuracy required. The only negative here is the plastic used for the body, feels thin and cheap with no texture at all - however, this needs to be considered at the price point it is being sold at in comparison to other similar products. At the time I got this mouse it was priced competitively at the lower end of the market, hence I give it a 5 star review.
